About this property

Massive Condo Sleeps 12 with Pool at North Beach

This second floor five bedroom three and a half bath unit features high ceilings, hardwood floors, modern décor and an open-concept kitchen and living space. Kitchen features include imported Carrera Marble counter tops and Kitchen Aid appliances. Living room features 65” smart tv with cable and wifi so you can keep up-to-date with all your online streaming shows. There is a secondary living room for additional tv watching or social gathering.

There is also an on-site Golf Cart that is separately rentable per day (rentable days are 10 am to 10 am). The link to rent the golf cart will be sent when a reservation is made for the house.

Grounds overlook Jaycee Park in the National Historic Fort Screven District which includes Soccer fields, basketball courts, shuffleboard, a playground and more. Tybee's bike path is great for touring the island and runs along the east side of the park.

Enjoy a short walk to North Beach to enjoy the sand and surf or a bite to eat at the North Beach Grill.

Free off-street parking for 3 vehicles makes staying on Tybee even easier for you and your guests.

​​​​​​​Pool Seasonality: The Barracks Pool is open year-round. It is heated on the following date range:
October 1 – December 15
March 1 – May 30
The pool is not and will not be heated from December 15 through March 1 as the air temps are too cool to maintain an adequate swimming temp.

Cleaning Precautions: After each guest checks out, we have professional housekeepers clean each vacation home from top to bottom with disinfectant, wiping down all surfaces and floors. All towels and linens are professionally laundered and individually vacuumed packed until needed. When the housekeepers are complete a member of our team inspects the home, using gloves and/or disinfectant wipes, to ensure nothing was missed and restock any cleaning supplies. We strive to provide the most comfortable environment for your stay.

Great property and value! Beautiful and clean inside and out. It was just a short walk to the beach. Being able to come back and relax at the outdoor heated pool was a huge perk. We would absolutely rebook if we’re in the area again.

We loved the condo. It was so beautiful and clean and the location was even better. Short walk to the beach, the pool was wonderful and the park with a playground was our grandkids dream. The beds were comfortable! Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at the Barracks. Walking distance to the beach and Tybee Lighthouse. The house is spacious and the kitchen is a 10/10. Had a wonderful time!

Wonderful stay

We stayed with a group of girls for my best friends bachelorette weekend and the house was gorgeous! Exactly as photographed online property management was amazing! Very kind and available as we needed! Walking distance to the beach and wonderful pool on the property. Would definitely recommend!

The house was great and very clean. The only downfall is that it had a mild mildew smell in the bedrooms when we first arrived. The smell subsided after we turned the air on. Overall it was a great stay and I would definitely stay here again!

Thanksgiving 2019

We had 6 adults, 2 teens and a toddler and we had plenty of space. Location was perfect for us since we had a few events off the island as well as being walkable to the beach and lighthouse. The park directly across from the apartment was great for walking as well as a big hit for the kids.

The Barracks Were a Hit!

The property was fabulous. We had two families in our unit and there was plenty of space for everyone. We particularly loved the separation of space between the two different family rooms, ideal for splitting younger children and their play and the adults. A great location with a park and frisbee golf course right out the front door. A quick walk to the beach and lighthouse made everything very accessible. Great memories were made!

Great Stay at The Barracks

The Barracks exceeded our expectations and was exactly as portrayed on the website. The renovation job that was done on this property was superb. We stayed in the 5 bedroom unit but only had 2 couples staying in the house. Everything was clean and tidy. The pool was heated and beautiful. The location was perfect being right down the street from the lighthouse and within easy biking distance to everything on the island. We could not have asked for a more beautiful place to stay on Tybee. We will be back again with our kids and grandkids.

Great Stay At The Barracks

We had a wonderful stay at the Barracks #7! Two families with teens stayed and enjoyed every aspect. The location was perfect- short bike ride to the beach and close to restaurants, shopping and 2 mile bike ride to the pier. Boys loved the basketball court at the park right out the front door. The heated pool was very nice, even warm for the great October weather. Kitchen had everything we wanted for the few meals we prepared. The only thing I would add would be more kitchen towels. We had only one and one washcloth. It was great to have dishwasher and washing machine detergent, thank you! The beds were very comfortable. We had plenty of bath and beach towels. Would definitely recommend to others. We will be back again!!

Amazing Property!

We loved our stay at The Barracks. It was perfect for our family which included adults, teenagers and a four year old. The back room was great for all of the teenagers and kids. The kitchen and living area was wonderful for all of us to hang out together. The condo is beautifully decorated. The beds are really comfortable too. Can’t say enough nice things about this property! I highly recommend!

Awesome Family Vacay

We had an amazing time on Tybee and visiting Savannah. An absolutely beautiful area with lots to do for all ages. The location of The Barracks was great. Easy walk to the beach and not super crowded. Loved the nice private pool. Our only complaint was that we wished we had more time.

Fantastic Stay

The property was perfect for our midsize group, which included a mix of adults and kids. Clean and spacious in a great location. The large balcony/porch was the highlight. We went there for a COVID escape - the kids were doing virtual learning while the adults worked. Never had a wifi issue and lots of space to spread out.

Great Tybee Location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Barracks in Tybee Island. We share the space between two families and had plenty of room to spread out and relax. It was easy to social distance from the other guests, and we had plenty of opportunities to enjoy the pool. The adults in our group enjoyed the front porch immensely. The porch and rockers gave us a nice quiet space to enjoy your coffee in the morning and our cocktails in the evening. We highly recommend the Barracks in Tybee Island.
