Ocean view 2 bedroom apartment with a pool

Away from the tourists yet close to the most beautiful, secluded beaches, breezy, safe, residential neighborhood. NO NIGHTLIFE in walking distance! Suitable for travelers seeking peace and nature. Car is not necessary but highly recommended!
Forget the South or West coast, it is crowded, too hot, very noisy, dogs barking all night long, eroding beaches and way too expensive tourist trap.

This spacious and clean house is located on the south east part of the island known for its cooling, Atlantic breeze. There is no need for AC. It's walking distance to the 5 most beautiful, uncrowded beaches. With its rugged, beautiful scenery the quiet and friendly Belair neighborhood is a welcome change from the hustle and bustle of the south and west coasts.

The apartment is on the ground floor, has a private entrance from the patio, includes a living room, fully equipped kitchen and a full bathroom as well as outdoor shower.

ADDITIONAL AMENITIES: Baby crib, access to a washing machine. 2 boogie boards, 2 yoga matts, safety deposit box, reliable, fast internet, outdoor brick grill, outdoor hot & cold totally private shower.

LOCATION: The home is located in a quiet residential neighborhood and is a 5 minute walk to the nearest beach: Shark Hole (no sharks, I promise), Dawlish beach. In addition to these two, there are 5 other, most beautiful, deserted beaches, only 20-30 minutes walk or 5 minutes by car: Bottom Bay Beach (our favorite!) - Crane Beach (best for boogie boarding) - Ginger Bay - Sam Lords Castle Beach - Plus a few more secret beaches, which we're happy to share with you!

15 minute drive to the airport 20 minutes to Oistins Fish Market, 25 min drive to the night life area in St. Lawrence Gap

ACT LIKE A LOCAL: We have been coming to Barbados for 25 years now and are familiar with the best beaches and sight seeing. We can recommend the best places to see. There is a well equipped Emerald City Supermarket at Six Roads, 10 min drive. Car is recommended. The bus stop is 2 min walk and the fare is $2.75.

The location is unique because it is away from the touristy areas of Barbados. Instead you'll find stunning beaches that have very few visitors but plenty of fresh coconuts to eat and drink. :)

WOW! What a great place

We loved staying with Jana. The minute you walk in, it's so obvious that the house is taken care of with so much love. The decoration, the amenities, the garden and of course, the perfect pool. We loved it all. We had everything we needed and were in the most beautiful location. This part of the island is simply magical. Hidden beaches with nobody on it (make sure to get the full list from Jana!), terrific places to eat and drink nearby (but not too near so the area is super quiet) and all the necessities, like grocery stores are super close. We can't wait to come back!!!

It was an absolute delight for our one month stay. Jana (the owner) was welcoming. Met us literally at the driveway when we first arrived. Welcoming drinks, easy check-in, and a very lovely accommodation. We certainly enjoyed eating different meals on the private patio. This truly was our home away from home. Access to all things on the property; in-ground pool, hammock, all beach accessories, laundry facilities and bbq How many owners invite you to outings, bake you banana bread more than once, immediately take care of issues, and keep you informed of happenings on the island? Definitely would return 😎

Why they chose this property

Family & kids friendly house made with love. It is a little piece of paradise, you will not want to leave. I pay attention to details when it comes to lighting (take it from the photographer), music, outdoor seating, cooking. You won't have to buy any spices, all utensils are there. Kept in the mint condition.

What makes this property unique

Away from tourists, walking distance to the most beautiful beaches on the island. The cooling ocean breeze makes the AC unnecessary. It also keeps the mosquitos away. Very different from the noisy, overcrowded and hot west coast.
