Beautiful Ocean View, just down from Shamel Park

3 Bedrooms, 2 1/2 bathrooms, 1 king , 2 queen beds. 2 TV's, DVD, high speed WIFI, Keurig, board games, washer dryer, dishwasher, microwave, Santa Maria style BBQ(charcoal only please) , remote-controlled gas log fireplace, wine refrigerator, single garage. This lovely home is light and airy, and just plain wonderful! It is only about a half block out the front door to Shamel Park, and across the street from the ocean. This is a very comfortable two story home with impressive ocean views. You enter downstairs, with the two queen bedrooms and then go upstairs to the main level with the king bedroom, kitchen and living room. The BBQ deck is on the back of the house and the main, ocean view deck, is off of the front of the house. Gorgeous ocean views and a great walking area too. It's an easy walk to town for your morning latte' and yummy pastry. The Moonstone Beach boardwalk is also nearby, where you can walk along the ocean to work off the lunch or dinner you ate at one of the wonderful Moonstone Beach restaurants. Some of the most beautiful walking trails are a short walk south on Windsor. The Fiscalini Ranch trails are something you will enjoy immensely, and while you are taking in the breathtaking ocean views, you may just spy an adorable weasel nearby.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My family and I stayed in this beautiful home for New Year’s and we loved the location of the home. The home is so close to a beautiful mountain trail to view the entire ocean, near Shamel Park, and near the costal access through the park. It’s a very quiet neighborhood at night too. The home fit all 4 of us comfortably. The downside is that it was a very rainy and cold week and we needed the home to be warm throughout as the 2 queen bedrooms are downstairs and the King bedroom is upstairs. We were trying to figure out the thermostat as the downstairs remained very cold and it was a clear difference when walking down the stairs, you felt it get cold. My grandmother had joined us and she is very sensitive to temperatures, so while she was originally going to remain in the bottom Queen room, she had to stay upstairs and so did the rest of us to stay in the warm area of the house. We contacted the staff and they were helpful in bringing someone over to help take a look and they were able to set the thermostat to a temperature we wanted and helped close the upstairs vents and open all downstairs vents to see if that would help, but unfortunately the downstairs still remained very cold. We made it work but it was unfortunate that we didn’t enjoy all the rooms comfortably. Make sure to also bring extra toilet paper and all your personal needs and belongings as there are only 1 extra roll in each bathroom and only hand soap, which one of the bathroom didn’t have a hand soap so we thankfully had brought our own extra soaps and personal shower washes and hair shampoo/conditioner, etc. Something else to note is that when we got there the upstairs bedroom and one of the downstairs bedroom where the bed is a Murphy bed, had what felt like sand on the top bed cover. There’s also some spider webs such as in the half bathroom attached to the tissue box. Overall, we had such a relaxing time and the staff were so kind and accommodating as were the

Central Coast vacation

We stayed in Cambria because it was central to the areas we wanted to go to. It is a beautiful area and the house was in a great location! The place was well stocked, near all the great trails and the view was fabulous. Would definitely recommend.

The views and location are amazing, we loved the close proximity to the ocean and to the little park just a block away. We walked to town, relaxed, and just had a great experience. We took daily walks at the nature preserve just a few blocks away; it is absolutely magical! The house was clean and comfortable, the floor plan was great. The kitchen and appliances were one of the best aspects of the home. A couple things to note, some of the blinds were broken, probably from a lot of use, but it would be great if those were fixed and there was no laundry detergent but we bought some so we could use the laundry.

Gorgeous home a block from the beach

This home has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is AMAZING with top of the line appliances. It’s a new modern home. The property manager was extremely helpful and kind.

Great House With Ocean View!

Staying at this property was a wonderful and very comfortable experience. It is a well-appointed and well-maintained house with a great view of the ocean. Everything you need for in-home cooking is available in the beautiful, spacious kitchen. The primary bedroom is nice and cozy, and the bathroom is very spacious, especially the walk-in shower. Everything was very clean!

It's still got that "new house" smell. The views from upstairs are incredible. It was raining the whole weekend so we didn't get to enjoy the deck much. But we definitely enjoyed the push-button convenience of the fireplace. My wife and I went here for a birthday weekend. We've been coming to Cambria for 20 years and this is one of the best houses we've stayed in. The location, the comfort, the amenities can't be beat. And the team at Cambria Vacation Rentals is the best! We'll be back!
