Sugar Mountain getaway with a sweet view!

This cozy, three-bedroom, two-bath cottage provides an open-level floor plan for a comforting environment to entertain guests by the gas fireplace. The deck offers covered and open options for enjoying the layered view across the Banner Elk Valley and over to Beech Mountain. There is an outdoor seating area with a fire pit and a Sugar Mountain ski lift chair converted to a swing. The property has new appliances, a sectional, and an updated gas-burning fireplace. Located at the end of the road, this property has lots of privacy but is still convenient for activities on Sugar, such as skiing, golf, tennis, and mountain biking. Soak in the beautiful views from the comfy sofa in front of the stone fireplace. Prepare your meals in the fully stocked kitchen. This beautifully refreshed 3-bedroom, two-bath property offers a king in the master bedroom with an en-suite bath, a queen in the guest room, and two twins in the third bedroom.

You’ll love our place!
During the winter months, an all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive vehicle may be needed, depending on road conditions on the mountain. The roads on Sugar Mountain and the driveway are maintained as needed.

A RING floodlight camera security device is installed along the front of the house and up the driveway. This camera provides coverage of the fire pit and near the front door, as well as security for us as owners and our guests.

We enjoyed our stay there. A very clean place with every amenities one could need. The covered deck allowed eating out no matter the weather. The beds were comfortable. We had a problem with the internet service provider and tge host handled it right away. A great place to stay!

The kids loved the house, couch and beds were very comfortable, heaters worked great, dishes/cooking utensils/etc. were well stocked. All around a great place to stay. Do just keep an eye on winter weather when you are there if you don't have snow tires/chains as the driveway is a bit steep if it gets icy.

This place is very beautiful. Easy access to Boone, Banner Elk, and Grandfather Mountain. The Sugar Mountain resort/lodge is a short mile away. Would love to stay here again in the Spring/Summer.

Gorgeous views and everything we needed

We loved staying here. The views from the deck and master bedroom are gorgeous, and the home had everything we needed (laundry, some board games, plenty of dishes). The road to get there is very windy but that is to be expected for the great mountain views. Owner is very responsive. Great stay!
