THE FRAMEWORK & THE ATMOSPHERE
The ideal villa for a stay with family or friends to discover the Basque Country. Recognized for its original decor, it is perfectly equipped for your holidays.
Only a few kilometers from downtown Biarritz and a few hundred meters from the village of Bidart, you will be at the best place to discover the gastronomic specialties of the region.

THE VILLA
Spacious house organized on 2 floors. A fully equipped American kitchen. On the ground floor, the open kitchen opens onto the living room. A large terrace facing south, has an outdoor lounge where you can enjoy the sun and the breathtaking views of the Pyrenees. You can also take advantage of the garden level to relax by the heated swimming pool or find yourself around the plancha for an outdoor lunch.

Ground floor: living room, dining room, kitchen opening onto the terrace and the view of the Pyrenees. 2 bedrooms with bathroom and separate toilet.
On the ground floor a bedroom with a private bathroom (shower), a shower and finally a room adjoining the games room (2nd Salon), all overlooking the terrace with pool. The house is nestled in the greenery, yet it is 5 minutes walk from shops (Intermarché, butcher, bakery, etc.) and major roads.
3 minutes from the beaches by car and quick access to the mill of Bassilour and the hinterland.

We enjoyed our stay in this comfortable and well equipped house very much. Our kids appreciated the pool every day a few times and loved it. Fabulous villa

We had a great week in this amazing family villa. The bedrooms were all very comfortable and the three bathrooms were perfect for our group of 6 adults and one child. The house was well equipped especially the kitchen. We liked the outdoor area with the kitchen and barbecues. Highly recommended for a family holiday. The hosts provided everything you could need, including inflatable toys for the swimming pool!

Great Stay

Very nice rental with 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, pool, views of the Pyrenees etc… lots of arts on display, books, movies, games… everything you would need for a great family vacation in the Basques Country. 2 min walk from grocery store, 10 min from the beach and 15-20 from the center of Bidart. Owners were very welcoming and friendly. Would definitely go back.

Beautiful holiday house, just few minutes away from Bidart beach

This is a beautiful house with a lot of art at the walls and all that you can wish for. The pretty large swimming pool with salt water is heated. Very complete and relaxing. We enjoyed our stay very much. One point of awareness: the house is on a hill with a nice view towards the Pyrenees, but please note that below the garden of the house is a road, which can give some traffic noises.

Wonderful stay in Bidart!

Our family of four and our friend’s family of three spent a magical week at this beautiful property! The house was great, very comfortable and spacious. The main kitchen had everything we could possibly need. For two families, the house set up is perfect as each of the two floors is like a mini apartment with bedrooms, full bathrooms, a living room, and kitchen (main one upstairs and mini kitchen downstairs for proximity with the backyard). The grounds were spectacular with a view of the mountains and a large forest (very private with no other properties as far as the eye could see). The hosts were very accommodating with check in and offered us a lot of information and tips on the area. They were warm and responsive, and wanted to make sure we had a great stay. We highly recommend this place for large families/groups and hope to go back!

Un merveilleux séjour entre famille et amis

Nous avons passé une très bonne semaine dans la maison de Françoise et Paul Jean ! Très bien placée à moins de 10mn du centre de Bidart et des plages, la maison est aussi proche des arrêts de bus et donc très pratique pour nos ados. Première escapade basque

Pour notre premier séjour au pays basque, nous avons eu la chance de profiter d'une villa très agréable, aux nombreuses bonnes surprises et joliment décorée. L'accueil par Loria (Agence) a été chaleureux et les propriétaires sont très sympathiques. On se sent vraiment bien dans cette maison, y compris lorsque le temps est mitigé :-)

La maison est très agréable, vraiment bien équipée ! Un peu en retrait des plages, mais proche d'un supermarché. Très calme la nuit, et parfaitement ensoleillé la journée

Casa espectacular

Es una casa que está aún mejor que lo que ya aparece en las fotos. Muy buena ubicación. Y la amabilidad tanto de Fred como de su marido es increíble. Muy recomendable, cuando vuelva por la zona volveré a alquilar la casa seguro.

Living abroad during nearly 20 years we were lucky enough to travel a lot.
Basque country took our heart and is the place where we have decided to settle our family house.
We took the chance to buy this beautiful house between Biarritz and Bidart.
We are looking forward to living there all over the year as sonn as possible.

Why they chose this property

Bidart and the basque country are all we likes : ocean, surf, mountain .
With spain within 20 mns by car we love to discover the whole area .
So many things to do !

What makes this property unique

We first came in love with the view on the mountain and we had the chance to be able to buy it.
Since then , every times we can we enjoy the sunset from the balcony. sitted on the sofa..
Enjoying welcoming friends we decided to modify a little bit the house .
The open kitchen is fully furnished and the english dining table can welcome 20 guest.
We did a try for new year's eve with 18 friend and it was fantastic!
The terrace near by the pool is perfect for sunbathing and was big enough to welcome this year a plancha and barbecue corner as well as tables and chairs for those who love eating outside.
As sleeping is essential we installed new and high quality matress in the 4 bedrooms.
