Restored with refinement and comfort. Contemporary and rustic alliance.

Several teak terraces (sunny or shaded) with its swimming pool equipped with a jet stream against the current. A plancha for your barbecues and many deckchairs at your disposal. Pétanque track. Ping pong table.

The very bright interior.

Several atmospheres to live in complete independence: large cathedral dining room with fireplace and open fully equipped kitchen (American fridge, Bocuse cooking piano with 2 ovens and grill, blender and multiple cooking utensils - Nespresso coffee machine)

Two lounges (one with fireplace, the other with flat screen TV and orange WIFI connection box).

Eleven people can live comfortably thanks to the 4 bathrooms or shower rooms and three WCs.

The rooms :

Upstairs, a master suite (double bed) with bathroom and sea view, shower, double sink, bidet and WC and a bedroom (double sofa bed) with shower and sink.

Ground floor: one bedroom (double bed) with shower and sink. Two bedrooms with 2 single beds (or 3 single beds or double bed according to your wishes).

All bedrooms are fitted with lighted cupboards with wardrobe and suitcase holder.

Linen (bed sheets and towels) provided.

Our stay at Iztokinta was an absolute success. The house is fantastic (probably the first time that the description and photos on the website are below the reality). The decoration is remarkable, the equipment complete. The exterior of the house is also excellent (terraces, pool, carport...). The location is also very practical (small supermarket and bakery just next door) and you can walk to the center of Guéthary (restaurant, port, stores, market, beaches, activities like Basque pelota, outdoor movie center, ...) in 10-15 minutes. The bus service is also very practical (and cheap) if you want to go to St Jean de Luz, Bidart, Biarritz (much easier than by car). In addition the region has plenty of point of interests (small villages, the Rhune train, hiking trails) and I do not forget the quality of the food and the kindness of the local people. In short a five stars vacation !

A most lovely getaway!

The house is as lovely as the pictures look, the kitchen excellently equipped and you can cook anything your heart desires. We were a large group and all slept comfortably. It is a nice walk from a few beaches but also near public transport if needed. Thierry & Ann are very professional and so kind, I highly recommend this property and we plan to return. :)

Fantastic stay!

The house is even more beautiful than the pictures! We had a wonderful stay in this very practical and nice place for the big group we were. The pool is just perfect!! Guethary is a hidden pearl next to busier places like the mondaine Biarritz and the nice st Jean de Luz. It was still calm the end of June… Good communication with the helpful owners and the concierge in place. The climate is great because not to hot and sometimes cloudy: time to visit the markets and eat tapas in Spain! We just had a wonderful stay and love to go back very soon! Exceeding all our expectations!

It started with a call 2 months before the visit when the owner called and asked about us, to prepare the house. It was prepared, bedrooms in order for 4 couples with 2 separate infants. The house and particularly the outdoor living spaces were fantastic. Magnificent garden in the midst of a calm residential area but very private. Master bedroom on upper floor was brilliant. Pool perfect with broad steps which the infants could use. We could absolutely come back.

Merveilleux séjour familial et amical dans cette grande et joyeuse maison de famille, remarquablement bien équipée et décorée avec goût. De nombreux espaces distincts et bien agencés - salon TV, bibliothèque, mezzanine, terrasses avant et arrière, aires de jeux - ont permis à nos trois générations d'alterner moments partagés, dans le living et sur la terrasse principale, et moments plus intimes d'une manière fluide. La piscine est agréable et entretenue, la climatisation fonctionne bien (séjour et chambre principale), la pression des douches est excellente, la grande cuisinière Smeg permet de cuisiner pour de grandes tablées, sans oublier la plancha. Le lit de la chambre parentale est un peu ferme mais c'est une question de goût. Enfin la maison est très bien placée, au calme, avec une supérette bien achalandée, bonne boulangerie et pharmacie à 5mn à pied, zone commerciale et hypermarchés à 5mn en voiture. Centre ville et plages à 10mn à pied. Divers guides touristiques et de randonnée à disposition. Très chaleureusement recommandé !

Un séjour de rêve, un moment basque unique

Extraordinaires. Les photos étaient prometteuses mais tout est encore plus beau et fonctionnel en vrai. Ce séjour dans cette villa exceptionnelle a été ce que nous rêvions, pour nous reposer et profiter comme pour cuisiner de bons petits plats avec tout ce qui permet de les réussir, même pour 10 personnes. Il ne manquait rien.

Très agréable villa

Deux semaines très agréables. Belle maison . Seul hic , Guethary est mal doté en ce qui concerne le vélo . Les pistes cyclables sont trop réduites . L’usage de la voiture est bien trop systématique .

Belle propriété bien située

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans cette belle propriété avec piscine chauffée, très bien située à Guethary. Les espaces de vie sont spacieux et la maison est bien équipée. Plan parfait pour séjour entre amis ou familles. Merci aux propriétaires et à Romain pour leur accueil.

Maison idéale pour groupe de 8/10 personnes

Maison idéale pour un séjour entre amis : idéalement située à 15 min à pied du centre de Guetary, les 4 chambres sont suffisamment éloignées pour laisser de l’intimité, la maison est parfaitement équipée (super literie, équipements cuisines au top !), la piscine et les espaces extérieurs sont très agréables. Bref nous y reviendrons sans hésiter !!!

Maison avec beaucoup de charme et très bien équipée

Maison de charme bien décorée dans un jardin arboré tranquille avec piscine chauffée. Équipements comme à la maison. Dommage à 4 de ne pas avoir accès chambre parentale à l étage et à deuxième douche. Guethary petite ville bien située au milieu pays basque mais loin des foules!

Lovely place to stay at

Enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It was roomy, well-equipped, clean and had all the necessary mod cons. The pool was the icing on the cake. The neighbourhood was nice and quiet. And the village ever so close to other interesting places and towns to visit. Correspondence with the property owners was easy and Emmanuel very helpful. We can warmly recommend this holiday villa.
