The Bear cottage was lovely. Sparkling clean, spacious and super comfortable. The hosts were welcoming and helpful. Shops, restaurants both right around the corner. We will be staying there again!
This was the perfect place for me to stay for High Point Market. It was about 25 minutes away and very affordable and comfortable and in a beautiful part of town.
Was amazing location, owners and there family were amazing and wonderful to visit with. Beautiful Vrbo, clean and great location. Would recommend to anyone needed a place to stay in Lexington.
The hosts were friendly and the property included a lot of little amenities that many other places don't remember. They had chargers for our phones, toothbrush, toothpaste, shampoo and soap. They also had coffee, snacks, and other things to make the stay special. The property was walking distance to all of the restaurants and stores. We really enjoyed walking downtown but we also enjoyed walking around and looking at all of the beautiful homes in the area. The mattress was a little too soft for our liking, but I understand that that's a personal preference and we like to have a harder mattress. Amazing place that we 100% recommend!
The cottage was just perfect for us. Enjoyed our stay there immensely. The owners were extremely friendly. We will certainly stay there again. Exceptionally clean and relaxing.
Bear cottage was perfect! Once inside a binder provided all the information we needed for the cottage and the area. Very clean and was equipped with extras like dishes, chargers, toiletries, etc...

About the host
Hosted by Kim & Greg
Hello, my name is Greg. My wife Kim and I moved to the Historic district here in Lexington in 2018. Our home is approximately 100 years old with the Bear Cottage being built-in 2005. We love to work with guests and ensure that every guest has a wonderful stay. We moved here from southern Davidson county and love living in this community. I hope every guest enjoys Uptown Lexington as much as we do on a daily basis.
Why they chose this property
The beauty of the Bear cottage is a few things. You have your own privet entrance to a detached building from the main house that sits in a quiet neighborhood, yet you're a two-block walk to uptown Lexington. We have privet off-street parking and very convenient to the highways.
