Blue View charming lakeside cottage with large deck and beautiful lake views

Blue view offers guests a modern lakeside cottage that has been thoughtfully appointed with your comfort in mind. Guests will sleep in one of the two private bedrooms in a queen bed with ample room. A galley style kitchen with full size appliances and cookware allow our guests the choice to stay in for meals. Blue view has a large deck with magnificent views for you to enjoy your morning cup of coffee while listening to the song birds. Spend the day fishing off the dock, or explore the lake in the kayaks provided. At night enjoy sitting by the firepit as you relax with a glass of wine from one of the nearby vineyards.

I rented Blue View at the very last minute with my 15- year-old son who had a two day golf tournament nearby. It was such a perfect place and a soft landing after a long day of golf. He was able to fish and we enjoyed fresh air and the beautiful surroundings. Sherri was lovely and very responsive. I would recommend.

Great fishing trip

My friend and I booked a little fishing weekend away for our husband and they had the best time. They loved the house, location and the fishing. It had everything they needed and said it was the perfect place to get away! They’re planning to make it a yearly event at the same location.

Peaceful getaway!

Me and my boyfriend took a weekend trip here, we are from the area and we absolutely loved it! It was so clean and cute, you could tell it was a new property and it had everything we needed with an amazing view, definitely recommend!

We had such a relaxing stay at this beautiful lake house! The home was spotless from top to bottom — you can tell the hosts really take pride in keeping it clean and welcoming. Weekend with family

Cozy, clean cabin for weekend getaway in December. Everything went smoothly and quiet area at this time of year. Definitely recommend for small group and with deck during summer months would be very nice. Host was very responsive and helpful if needed.

Wonderful

I stayed at Blue View during a visit to Wake Forest University. It was a 45 minute drive to campus but I booked too late for family weekend to get any closer to Winston Salem. I must say, the house, the deck, the solitude was worth the drive!! The house is beautifully decorated and extremely clean! The owners were responsive. I would definitely recommend this stay!

This is what vacations are made of!!

I honestly don’t even know where to begin. I was more than excited to head to the Lake and spend time at Sherri and Bill’s little piece of heaven, “Blue View”! I surprised my boyfriend for his birthday by booking this gorgeous place for a long weekend. He was beyond excited and being here truly provided us a time to reset and just rest from the craziness of life. Communication with Sherri was always so easy as she responded quickly! The house was so clean and it smelled new when we walked in! The beds were so soft and loved the linens! They have decorated the Lake house so beautifully and from every angle, you could see the lake! They truly put so much thought into the little things while you are away from home. What an amazing time! We are already talking about when we can return! I can’t wait! Thank you both for the opportunity to stay at your precious Lake house. It was everything we dreamed of and more!!
