Welcome to Portal House & Portal Courtyard: a serene retreat in the heart of Silicon Valley.

Tucked in a quiet neighborhood, this resort-style escape is minutes from Apple campuses and walkable to shops, cafés and bus stations. Perfect for work, exploring, or a restful staycation.

Elegant, peaceful, and rich in character:

This beautifully upgraded house includes three bedrooms and two baths. Downstairs has two bedrooms with a king size bed in one room , a queen size bed in the other room and a shared bathroom. Upstair loft bedroom suite has its own door and lock for privacy. The loft offers a queen size bed, private bathroom, 50" TV, surround sound, tea station and a double sized tatami bed. In addition to central heating, the house is one of the few in the area that has central a/c throughout. Smart house features include high speed wifi, smart door lock, Ring cameras at the front and side entrances as well as Nest Thermostat for automatic temperature control.

Backyard has a spacious wood deck with beautiful five-piece rust-proof cast aluminum frame outdoor dining set and a stainless steel BBQ set. Beautiful propane burning fire pit flame provides soothing warmth, gentle lighting, and a centerpiece for outdoor or backyard evenings worth remembering. Beyond the wooden deck is lush green grass and assorted flowers.

Wonderful property!

The rental was a beautiful and spacious property. Jennifer was extremely helpful and her communication was some of the best I’ve experienced when using Airbnb. I would highly recommend this rental!

great people great property

super nice and clean property. Back yard is awesome - and they are super nice. kitchen supplies are a bit light - but they were so nice we left a couple extra pans for the next renters! Great location.

Perfect house!

The house has so much character. Very spacious with high ceilings. It was perfect for a stay while I was in the area for work. Looks like it would be amazing for family’s. Upstairs attic type of room with beds for family. Two bedrooms downstairs beautiful. Very nice accents and attention to detail. Perfect location and quiet and serene. Recommend!

Great Location!

This place is in a very central location. The house is in a nice neighborhood. You’ll have to be ready to share the property with the family, who are pretty close, but do stay to themselves. The house is clean and had mostly what we needed. We could have use a few more towels, and the king mattress was very hard and uncomfortable. The outside area is very nice and lovely to sit and enjoy the weather. Overall a very nice stay.

Your feedback about towels and the firm mattress is appreciated. There are extra towels and linens in the closet by the stairway. We will continue to make sure it is fully stocked. With regard to the extra firm king mattress, it was actually recently placed in the room because it is good for people with back pain. The other beds range from medium firm to comfort so guests can have choices. However, I will also look into options to make the extra firm king mattress more comfortable. As you mentioned, cohost and his girlfriend live in the back house. which is separated by the big grassy lawn from the front house. They are very quiet professional people, keep to themselves and are there to help my guests when needed. Thank you again for your review and I hope to see you in the future! Jennifer
