Quaint, cute two bedroom home

Cute, cozy home in a great neighborhood surrounded by parks great for evening walks.

The amazing location...You have access to 3 freeways, and Central Expressway. This means in 15 minutes by car you can be in Stanford, Los Altos, Palo Alto, San Jose, Milpitas or the east bay. By foot or bike you can reach beautiful shoreline park, two public rail systems, and lovely downtown Mountain view with great food!

Park at both ends of the street, one attaches to a long biking and walking trail that follows a creek to the bay. Short walk to a shopping center with food and coffee options. Quick access to multiple freeways. Safe and quiet.

One car can park in the driveway, additional free parking on the street for additional cars. There is quick access to public transport (cal train, light rail, and busses)
Please read these rules carefully. They have been added as a result of a few bad guests. Remember this is a home not a Motel 6. No more than 6 guests allowed at the home, unless with special permission prior to booking. If you have a party or additional guests without prior approval you will be charged $300. Extra cleaning fees are $300 or more. Fee for smoking is $600. If you are late to check out impacting the ability for the home to be prepared for the next guest you will be charged a minimum of $300. Quiet hours start at 10 pm.

Air bnb required break down on fees: $50 for food left in the fridge or cabinets, $50 for dishes not being cleaned, $50 for trash not being taken out, $50 for trash left in the bedrooms, $50 for trash/cigarette buts left near the front entrance. $50 for lost keys.

Convenient Location

The host responsiveness was excellent. When I identified that there was no more dishwasher soap, it was delivered within hours.The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook our own meals.

Older but functional small unit. Comfortable couch and beds. Sufficiently stocked kitchen for our needs - tea/coffee and cookies were a nice touch, as were the toiletries provided.

We were on a family vacation looking for a place to stay in the Bay Area. This place was perfect for us. Close enough to the big cities and easy access to freeways. Work Trip

Place was nice and clean. Kitchen access was important due to dietary restrictions and home was good for what we needed. Parking situation was a little confusing as we had two vehicles during our stay. Weather was cool so window AC was sufficient.

Everything was as we expected it to be. It was a clean, comfortable value unit. It would have been nicer if the small outdoor area was maintained for guest use, but this was never noted in the listing. Very convenient location.

Lovely Duplex

The interior was beautifully and recently renovated. Plenty of room for the whole family of 6. It is a duplex attached to a neighboring, identical home, which I didn't see in the description; I thought it was a small house. It still did not disappoint. We look forward to staying there again.

Excellent Experience

My relatives came to town for my son's wedding, they stayed at the property for 7 days. First of all, the place was very clean, and kitchen has all the stuff we needed. Second, the location is great, it's close to freeways, and short drive to most of the major attractions. And last, but not the least, Chris was a great owner. He respond to our question/request promptly, and was very flexible with our earlier check-in. We definitely will rent again!

Nice, Spotless and Conveniently Located

This property exceeds our expectations. It was tidy, clean and well maintained. It was (is) conveniently located between SJ and SF. My family and I did enjoy our stay. Chris was very responsive, and very keen to our needs. He was very honest, as one of the boys forgot his laptop in the property, Chris was very quick in letting us know. Luckily. We were still in the vicinity, so we went back and promptly recover the item. Thanks Chris!

I can not say enough good things about this property. It was very clean upon arrival. It was nicely laid out and could easily sleep 6 even though the space isn’t huge. The beds were comfortable. The home was stocked with all of the things needed to make our stay easy and comfortable. The host was quick to communicate and respond to our communication. We slept two adults in one room, one teen in the other, and one teen in the living room. Everybody felt like they had their own space. We were here for a wedding. I have family members that paid the same that we did to stay in a single room in a hotel. If you’re thinking about renting this place, do it. You will be so glad you did.

Old, But Clean and Nice Location

The positives is that Chris and team were very responsive, the location is a couple blocks from the Stevens Creek walking path which was lovely and the neighborhood is quiet and lovely. There was a washer/dryer that was available and the beds were very comfortable. There was also a lot of storage in closets.The pictures though are a bit deceiving in that it was actually fairly old inside. The baseboards and walls were dirty as were the appliances. The front blinds were broken. It doesn't get much natural light and the lighting in general is pretty lackluster. The unit itself on the exterior is a little run down. We were visiting with a newborn and had gone this route instead of a hotel so there was space for family to visit, but it was just didn't feel like we could invite anyone over so we ended up not spending much time. It reminded me of a place college students would stay at.Overall, if you're on a budget, this unit is fine but if you're looking for something a little nicer, I would stay elsewhere.
