About this property

Sunny & spacious pied-á-terre by Union College & Proctors Theater!

Stay in our freshly renovated two-bedroom apartment in the Union Triangle Historic District! You’ll have the entire first floor of a 2-family house: two bedrooms, spacious living and dining room, additional reading room, and kitchen with breakfast counter and back patio. Central air throughout the apartment and parking in driveway. With several windows in every room the house gets beautiful sunlight throughout the day. Virtually across the street from Union College and a short walk to downtown.

The space:

Our house is perfect for one or two couples or a small family. Two full bedrooms with ample closet space in each, Roku TV in Queen bedroom and a 41" Roku TV in living room.

The house is a classic Victorian from 1907 with original wood floors, exposed brick, high ceilings, and lots of built-in details. Original artwork and vintage furniture throughout. Not suitable for pets.

Such a lovely place to stay

My husband and I stayed for a week just as Spring was really getting started. The location in outstanding - easy to get everywhere in town. The apartment was very clean and the bed was comfortable. The windows give wonderful natural light to the open living and dining room. We would love to come back next year.

Clean and spacious in a safe neighborhood next to Union College AND off street parking! Owners were very responsive and easy to deal with. Would use again; already shared the listing with another family member who may Need it for his next visit to Schenectady.

Convenient spot next to Union

Great first floor apartment with dedicated parking next to Union. It was the perfect place to work from during the day and relax with my daughter as she finished her finals and packed up her dorm. Our hosts were super responsive and wonderful. Would 100% stay here again. Thank you!

Perfect stay

Location perfect, quiet und secure. Short walk to the city. The apartment was clean, kitchen stuffed with everything you need. Outside it was terribly cold, and inside pretty warm, heating worked very well. Nothing to complain. Communication with David was perfect. Thank you.

Spacious apartment in a convenient location

My husband and I stayed in the apartment for a week to attend family reunion events. We found the apartment to suit our needs well and we liked the location near Union College. We can’t leave a five star review because we found the drains (sink and tub) in the bathroom to be very slow. This was annoying and we lived with it. We also thought the cleaning could’ve been better especially in the kitchen. We had to wash many of the utensils, dishes and glasses before using them. However we really liked the effort the owners took in designing the space while keeping the character intact. The internet worked well and we felt safe. We hope to stay here again with the maintenance issues resolved.

i am an academic who stayed here on a self-designed writing retreat. the space was incredibly conducive for focus, deep reading, and reflection. the interior design was colorful, uplifting, and artful. it was very easy to feel content in the space and get work done. when i ran into health and travel difficulties the hosts were responsive, generous, and flexible—i am extremely grateful for this. i can’t recommend this spot enough!
