Seas the Day's beach aka Butler Beach is one of the most beautiful and the least crowded beach in St. Augustine!

At Seas the Day, you'll enjoy a peaceful vacation at the beach while still having convenient access to the busy Historic Downtown area. Due to its central location on Anastasia Island, everything St. Augustine has to offer is nearby.

The best feature of Seas the Day is its proximity to the beach making beach days and catching sunrises over the Atlantic Ocean a breeze! Another cool aspect of Seas the Day's location is easy access to the Intracoastal where you can launch boats or other watercrafts, and enjoy incredible sunsets at Frank Butler Park West (2 min. drive or 10 min. walk away).

Property is located in a quiet residential beachfront neighborhood. The neighborhood is on the East side of A1A Blvd, so you do NOT have to cross A1A to get to the beach. You can take an easy stroll down the street to the beach or drive onto the beach via the vehicle access point that's in the neighborhood (see details below).

Seas the Day Highlights:

- Walk to the beach in just 3 minutes via an easy sandy path through the dunes. There is also a boardwalk path to the beach only a 5-min. walk away.

- Or, you can drive or ride a bike onto the beach via Matanzas Avenue Ramp, which is only two blocks away in the neighborhood! Bike rental shop is just a 5-min. walk from Seas the Day.

- 2 flat screen smart TVs (the TV in the bedroom was added after pictures were taken).

- High speed WIFI

- Spacious bedroom with a comfy king-sized bed and bathroom with a walk-in shower.

- The kitchen features a refrigerator/freezer, stove, oven, microwave, coffee makers (regular and Keurig) and everything you'll need to enjoy a meal. No dishwasher.

- Beach towels, beach chairs, cooler, & games provided.

- Outdoor seating area to the right of the front door with teak Adirondack chairs & table.

- Outdoor shower & on-site parking available (limited to 1 vehicle).

- Close to grocery & liquor stores, restaurants, shops, St. Augustine Amphitheater and the Historic Downtown area. Plenty of parking downtown or you can easily take an Uber/Lift.

- NO WASHER/DRYER ON-SITE.

- The property features 2 separate private apartments. This listing is for the first floor apartment that has 1 bedroom & 1 bathroom.

- Both apartments have separate entrances (this listing's entrance is on the right & the other unit's entrance is on the left). Common areas are the outdoor shower (located on the left side of the property) & parking. The apartments can be rented separately or together by the same group, subject to availability. Please contact the host about renting both apartments.

A note on the cleaning fee:

The cleaning fee is a one-time fee for the entire stay and 100% of it goes to our cleaner. All linens are professionally cleaned by a local company and that expense is covered by the host instead of our guests. While we ask our guests to maintain a good level of cleanliness during their stay, we do not require our guests to complete an extensive checkout procedure unlike a lot of other hosts. At Seas the Day, our guests are only asked to kindly do the following before departure:

- Place used towels in bedroom hamper
- Rinse off any used beach items so they are not sandy and return to closet
- Wash any dirty dishes & just leave them on drying rack
- Turn off lights & electronics

Great property! Location and comfort was super! The bed was heavenly comfort and the kitchen had everything you could need. The chairs outside on the little deck were perfect for sitting outside at the end of the day with a cool beverage. We loved our stay and would be happy to return.

Family reunion

I was traveling to the area for a family reunion. Location was perfect. Communication with property owner and property manager was timely. House was clean, well supplied for my needs. I was in the downstairs apartment so no real outside space to hang out. I didn't know I was renting the downstairs apartment. The upstairs neighbors were very noisy, sounding like they were moving furniture around. In the future I'd rent this apartment again, but ensure I was upstairs. Wifi and streaming services worked well. Definitely would recommend to other people.

Pretty property, strps from the beach. Historic downtown a brief drive north. Outlet mall a brief drive south. Bed was super comfortable. Upgrades throughout were beautiful! Recommendation is to bring extra towels/washcloths if you have more than one guest staying longer than 2 days. Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Cleanest Place Ever

We stay in 3-5 VRBO rentals a year and while we’ve never actually stayed in somewhere I’d call dirty, we’ve never stayed someone that I’d call this clean! Place was immaculate and spotless. Just a 5 minute walk from the beach and close drive to everything. I was concerned when renting about the other unit being above this one but the only time we really heard anyone above us was when the cleaners ran the vacuum, must be a thick ceiling between the two units. Was a good setup and perfect for my wife and I. Would 10/10 recommend and stay there again. The only issue we had (but was a non issue) is the folks who checked in our last day used both their cars to take up all the parking, but there is parking 15’ away on the street so not a big deal, just had to walk a few extra steps for packing up to leave the next day (after eating all the good food all week I’m sure we needed the extra steps lol) Highly recommend this place!

Why they chose this property

Quiet, residential neighborhood located on the East side of A1A with friendly residents. Beachfront neighborhood with direct access to butler beach on every street. Beautiful dune meadows separate the neighborhood from the beach. You'll see an abundance of wildlife throughout the neighborhood, including gopher tortoises, rabbits, osprey and parrots.

What makes this property unique

You'll be close enough to Historic Downtown and all the other attractions St. Augustine has to offer, but you won't have to deal with the crowds and noise. Only 3 min. walk to the beach, so you can catch the sunrise every day and easily go back & forth on long beach days. It is the widest beach in St. Augustine, so you can enjoy it no matter the tide and have plenty of space. It is also the least crowded beach b/c there are no condos or hotels; just private homes. You can catch the sunset over the Intracoastal at Frank Butler Park West (2 min. drive or 10 min. walk). Great restaurants, grocery stores and other conveniences are close by. Hiking trails and other beach accesses (i.e., Matanzas Inlet) are a short drive away. Boat, fishing and kayak rentals are available at Devils Elbow Fishing Resort located a few miles south. Bike rentals available at A1A Cycle Works just a short walk away.
