We had a very comfortable stay. The drive to Moscow was beautiful and easy. We even explored nearby trails at Idler’s Rest. Most notable— this home had all the supplies we needed for meal prep, and it was one of the CLEANEST properties we’ve ever stayed.
My daughter and I stayed here for a visit to University of Idaho. I loved the fireplace and paintings. Breakfast was delicious at the little cafe next door. We will definitely look to stay here again next time we are in the area.
The stay was very good. It was clean and very comfortable. We would stay there again.

Thank you so much for choosing our cottage for your stay. I am glad to hear everything went well. We look forward to accommodating you again soon. Stay in touch.
We didn't have a long stay but it was a nice place. Clean, stocked with bottled water and coffee, comfy beds, warm and cozy. The hosts were kind and responsive. I'd stay again!
Pros: Reasonably Clean. Comfortable beds. The Tamarack Cafe next door had great food.Cons: Late Check-in (5pm) and early Check-out (10am)Communication: No warning that there had been damage to the fence from a fallen tree. No warning that there would be work being done on the property: All day and into the evening on the Saturday of our stay, there was heavy equipment (Skid Steer) working within literal feet of the building. Communication/Location: From reading prior reviews, I was aware that the property is adjacent to a main highway; this is not outlined within the property description but is a major part of your stay. Additionally, it's not just one highway, but rather the property is located at the intersection of two highways. This results not only in traffic noise, but it makes even taking a short walk directly from the building difficult and dangerous.Location: The neighboring building is extremely close. Your view from the kitchen window consists of looking directly at the neighbor aprox 15 feet away. The building is stuffy even when it isn't particularly warm out; there is not any air movement. While the windows have screens and can be opened (aside from one broken) highway noise is an issue. There are 2 fans and a portable AC tucked in a closet; however, fans just move around thick air, and the small AC is no match for the entire building. There is a large brick hearth that juts out into the main pass through of the home which creates a bit of a trip hazard.

We are thankful for the graciousness of our guests this season as we work through repairs from a 200 foot tree that fell during 80 MPH winds that tore through our area this spring. Luckily for us, the tree fell between 2 of our homes, causing minimal damage. It smashed a new fence we had installed last fall, and caused roof damage to the neighboring home. We are usually booked solid on weekends between March and November, so while we have done our best to avoid guests with our repairs, we knew there may be one or two that got stuck with some weekend work. We are in a college area, so during spring months we compete with college turn-over season, and it is difficult to find contractors at all. As such, we work with what openings we can get. Our very first guests, after the tree fell, could open the back door, but it was all tree branches and mess directly in front of the back door.
While we understand the discomfort of having to listen to to equipment for a couple of hours in the late afternoon/early evening, every other item mentioned is clear in the listing, pictures, and public reviews. We do expect our guests to do their research so they are not surprised. The address says right in it that we are located off a highway, and the mapping system is pretty clear on both our listing sites. The AC is sufficient if started early in the day with doors, windows & blinds closed. Most of our guests enjoy their stays and many return. We love to answer questions during your stays!
Had a great stay with our 2 dogs. Plenty of room for them and the fenced area was perfect.
The house had so much character and was cozy. Wonderful place to spend time!
I loved my time at this cottage. A bit off the beaten path but quiet, cozy, and near enough to Moscow/Pullman. I was so thankful to find such a lovely place that was also pet friendly!
Visiting family at Potlatch for a wedding. Was perfect for our little family. Clean, well supplied, comfy beds. Stocked up with groceries from grocery store in Potlatch and visited the Mennonite owned Tamarack Cafe for fresh baked pastries. Would definitely stay when visiting again!
We had a great stay there and if it wasn't for us knowing g the area a d expecting it the commute to town is a bit of a distance. That shouldn't stop anyone from staying there it's is clean and well kept.
