The house has a large wrap-around covered porch and spacious common areas. Each guest room has satellite high definition TV, DVD player, refrigerator, microwave and coffee-maker. Guests have free access to the lodge's internet and phone. BBQ grills are available. Guests also have access to a private beach on the canal with fire pits and seating. This suite has a king sized bed and a single bed. It has a large private bathroom with a separate shower and an oversized Jacuzzi tub. Private entrance and spectacular views. There is a table and chairs. The room is decorated with photographs of Alaskan animals and scenery by Austin photographer Les Gage. Access to the common areas is limited to the living room and dining room. Individual access to the lodge kitchen and laundry facilities is not permitted. .

The property is in a lovely setting and very close to the ferry terminal which was a bonus. The hosts were helpful, informative and welcoming. Room was exactly as advertised, perfect for two people.
