Home is nestled in a wooded setting on a hillside sloping down in back for tree-house like views of wooded back yard and a walk-out lower level (one lower bedroom w/sliding glass door to private deck). First floor private bedroom with queen bed and en-suite full bath. Separate half bath on first floor. Upstairs master bedroom with queen bed shares full bath with loft. Basement with two bedrooms and full bath as well as game room/additional bedroom and separate laundry. Large living room with gas fireplace and vaulted ceiling open to loft above with beautiful windows/light. Light wood throughout. Modern kitchen open to dining room which opens out thru sliding doors to back deck! Spacious back deck with natural gas Weber grill for barbecuing. Perfect Lake Michigan dune cottage! At Stop 2, so close to Washington Park, the Zoo, the splash pad, the Marina, Fish Camp restaurant, and the Lighthouse/Pier. Beach is in great shape here (no seawalls needed, lots of sand). Enjoy the serene back yard view with trees and birds while you sip your morning coffee and plan your day on the beach or out and about. Lots of stuff to do nearby - Outlet shopping, breweries, restaurants, golf, Lake Michigan with it's endless possibilities. We can refer you to top deep sea Lake Michigan Captains for a day of Salmon and Trout fishing. Full internet with WiFi and google pucks to keep the signal strong as well as Roku TV in all rooms. House has had only one owner since built and they were meticulous - it's in like new condition, come and check it out for yourself!

Close to the water, park, & zoo. 7 family members stayed, had plenty of room, tvs in all bedrooms kept everyone happy and when wanting to watch. Large house gives everyone space. Has lots of little extras as well.

Such a beautiful home! We loved our time there! It was a family/kid friendly home in a quiet neighborhood. Spacious and plenty of beds for everyone. I was amazed by the proximity to parks, the lake, zoo, shopping and train station this house was. We were easily able to jump on the train and be in Chicago in a little over an hour!

This is an excellent location in relation to the beach! Easy walk. There is a TON of space in this house! The kitchen is so well-stocked! Ample parking, great hot water, and wonderful water pressure. As we are an older crowd, we did have trouble with the mattresses. The mattresses were uncomfortable and the queen beds with memory foam were too saggy. Probably wouldn't bother kids or younger people though.

Beautiful Home, Perfect Location

My cousins and I had a great experience staying at Todd’s place. The home was clean and extremely roomy for larger groups. The large parking area was also a big plus. Being within walking distance from one of the beach entrances was very convenient as well. We definitely enjoyed our experience and highly recommend this home to anyone looking to spend time in Michigan City.
