The house was perfect for our long weekend in Great Barrington. It’s very comfortable, clean, and well taken care of. The location is perfect. We loved being able to walk right into town. Highly recommend!
The house was the perfect fit for our objectives, it was large enough for our family and friends and close to downtown and the slopes. The hosts were accommodating and easy to work with.
Wonderful location! The house has everything you could need and is very nice. Third floor accommodations are a little tricky for older guests -- no bathroom and sloping ceilings.
We went to the Great Barrington area for a family ski weekend in February and had a terrific stay at this Victorian home. The host, Tracy was very easy to work with and responsive via text. We loved the house because it has so much character - the kids loved the fun bedrooms on the 3rd floor - and it is very close to the town of Great Barrington. We would definitely recommend staying here!

We enjoyed a terrific week in Great Barrington. This house is beautiful, well-appointed, and very clean. Our family loved making and enjoying meals in the spacious kitchen, watching movies in the family room, playing the piano in the sitting room, and the sleeping arrangements were very comfortable. So close to Butternut and all the great shops downtown. Great hosts who went above and beyond to take care of anything we asked. 5 stars!
Three sisters and two sisters in law spent a lovely weekend together in this beautiful home. We relaxed on the porch, lounged in the living room, and spent hours laughing and catching up. The quick walk to town made coffee runs easy and the shops and restaurants were define. Thank you thank you thank you < 3
Very nice place. Be careful not to pull too far forward in the driveway -- we got a message shaming us about this (we didn't even realized we'd pulled beyond the gravel into the grass the dark). Made us wonder who was watching us. Uppermost bedroom was tiny and challenging for an adult because you can't stand upright entering the room. At least a couple of the beds were not terribly comfortable for adults. The decor is lovely, and the location is outstanding. Overall very good experience.

Thanks for your review. We apologize if our communication was anything but professional and understand you may not have noticed you parked on the grass. We also live in the neighborhood and happened to notice during our morning walk.
Yes, the small upper bedroom with its attic charm is best enjoyed by children. The listing does note this.
Glad you had an overall positive experience!
Our group of adults and toddlers had an amazing stay. The house was sparkling, clean, spacious, and well kept. We loved all the extras like the piano sitting room, the front porch with comfortable seating, the large backyard with playhouse, the back deck with grill and screened room, soaking tub in master, powerful range for the serious cook. Open concept 1st floor so sight lines from the kitchen to where kids were playing was good. We were minutes away from Giggle Playground and Main St so daily walks into town for dining and shopping were very easy. Neighbors on the block gave us friendly Hi's. Communication with the host and her property manager was very easy. By the way, if you go with kids, I recommend driving to High Lawn Farm. It's a dairy farm with rolling hills, picnic tables and amazing ice cream (try their purple cow flavor), and you can walk right up to the adult cows as well as the calves in the calf barn. The kids loved getting up close and personal with the newborn calves. We went twice.Overall a great low-key Berkshires experience for the family in a beautiful home.
We loved spending a week in the house. It is walking distance from main street, on a sweet little street. It was the first trip with our 5 month old and we found the house to be very clean and safe for our baby. The kitchen is gorgeous and we appreciated the grill, back deck, front porch and screened in breakfast nook. The piano was a highlight as well. Tracy was very helpful and kind and we hope to return next year!
We had such a wonderful stay in this beautiful house! It was beautifully restored and decorated inside and out. Well stocked kitchen, comfy furniture and lovely decks both front and back to enjoy the beautiful, leafy neighborhood. The location could not have been better. It’s a short walk into town but still feels quiet and peaceful. We will be back!
Just the cutest and most comfortable house in the Berkshires. Perfect distance to everything with all the amenities you could need. We were ready to move in. If you are in the Berkshires this is the place to stay!! Can't wait to return. Thanks for everything Tracy.
This house is beautiful, clean, spacious, and perfectly located near downtown Great Barrington and Ski Butternut. It has a wonderful kitchen to cook in, a beautiful music room with an excellent piano, and we couldn't have asked for a better rental property. Tracy is a wonderful and caring host who is extremely responsive and responsible.
This is a wonderful, completely equipped house, well located to the Main Street but far enough away to be quiet and peaceful (great front porch). Owner is super responsive and accommodating. Property is near many conservation areas as well as cultural sights.
We loved everything about the Blue Hill House! Perfect set up for our group- two families of 4 (4 adults, 4 children ages 8-10). We stayed for a weekend and skiied at nearby Butternut. Excellent location, amazing host and fabulous time away with friends. Highly recommend!
The month we spent at this property was one of the best vacations we have had. Everything was provided. The property managers (and owners) were exceptionally gracious and always available. The design and decor of the house was welcoming with style and comfort.

Why they chose this property
Living on "The Hill" in Great Barrington is very desirable for raising families, great views of the mountains, and especially to be able to easily walk down to Main Street for restaurants, shops and festivals.
What makes this property unique
The house is very comfortable for families and multi-generational groups. Kids love the 3rd floor loft-like bedrooms that are unique spaces, that feel like a world away (while still being close by).
