Located in Huntingdon County, nestled in the woods. This lovely home provides a warm and welcoming escape for your upcoming vacation/get away. Surrounded by the natural beauty of the region, you'll be just a 20-minute drive from the stunning Raystown Lake and a 20-minute drive from the vibrant Juniata College campus. 10 minutes to 1,000 steps, downtown Huntingdon. Tons of things to do and see!
As a guest, you'll enjoy the cabin's wealth of amenities, including (dial-up) WIFI, a washing and dryer, a cozy fireplace (electric) and 4 smart TVs for your entertainment. The fully stocked kitchen is a chef's dream, featuring a stove, oven, refrigerator, grill, microwave, lobster pot, dishwasher, and a host of other appliances and utensils. Gather around the large dining table or step outside to the porch and fire pit for al fresco dining and relaxation.
When it's time to unwind, you can curl up with a good book from the cabin library, challenge your family to a game night, or simply bask in the tranquility of the great outdoors. With air conditioning, linens, and essential toiletries provided, you'll have everything you need for a comfortable and carefree stay.
Cabin/cottage sleeps 6 people and the Bunkhouse sleeps 6.  We have accommodations for guests up to 12.  Great spaces for friends and family group who love staying only a few steps from each other but like a little extra privacy. No other guests will be on the property during your stay. Just you and your group will be there.
Surrounded by woods in the back and pipelines on 3 sides. Very private area. The outdoor spaces are perfect. Fire pit for your campfire and marshmallow roasting. Covered porch with dining table and lots of seating. Enjoy the porch rain or shine, day or night. It's the most appreciated & written about area on the property.
Beautiful gardens and teneting space for those who enjoy sleeping under the stars!

Be sure to clean up after your dogs.
Start the washer with the used towels.

This property is located in a quiet peaceful, wooded area. The home is very clean and well equipt. Ajacent to the main house is a bunk house that our granddaughter loves. Property is as the owner describes in the listing. We had an enjoyable stay!!

We didn't hunt, fish, or hike (like everyone else) because this place is so cute and comfy!We also felt quite secure with Lenny the Sasquatch patrolling the perimeter. Loved it!!!

The Perfect Place @ The Lake

Our group travels fairly frequently and can be particular about our experience in terms of communication, cleanliness, ease of access to the property and accommodations. I can say without hesitation that this was one of our best experiences. We were granted early check in, had timely communication with any questions we had and the place was spotless. The Cabin cottage was in excellent condition. It was clean and very relaxing. The host made sure every little item was taken care of. This property was by far the best rental I’ve ever stayed in. It was fully stocked with absolutely anything you would ever need whether that be household items, games, or references for things to do in the area. We had an absolutely amazing time! Relaxing Getaway

The cabin was cozy. It is in a nice and quiet area which made it relaxing. The rooms are comfortable and we had family stay in the bunkhouse which was nice as well. Good size property and plenty of things to do near by. We had a wonderful time here and would definitely stay again.

Family getaway with fur babies.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cottage on Pine.The weather was not totally cooperative, so the covered porch allowed us to still be outdoors. The owner was very responsive. They supplied paper products, bath items, spices and coffee. I was told, just bring your toothbrush, food and clothes.We put those that snore in the very nice bunkhouse.

Quiet place to stay!

This cottage is in a very peaceful location, no traffic noise. We had breakfast on the screen- in porch while listening to many birds singing in the woods. It is very clean and has a great kitchen. We would go back again.

Another Amazing Vacation Stay

This was our 2nd year staying here and it did not disappoint in any way. Beautiful, clean and so relaxing. We went to Kelly's Korner as recommended by Melissa and it was Excellent from the staff to the food. Highly recommend it to others to do so if you haven't already.

Why they chose this property

This property (land) has been in our family for over 50 years. We purchased it to build a place for the entire family to "get away from it all" and have space for our dogs to run and play. (We do not charge a pet fee). Sit on the covered porch to kickback, relax with a book and listen to the whispers of the windchimes. Checkout your own small magically fairy garden or hike in the woods to discover the animals of the forest. You may see deer, squirrels, and wild birds of all kinds or on a very rear occasion a racoon, bear or whippoorwill on a moon lit starry night . Time to relax and enjoy your stay by a warm campfire roasting marshmallows.

What makes this property unique

Luxury Shabby Chic Style. Great water pressure. All new plumbing, fixtures, and amenities in 2024 were updated. Off the beaten path in the woods but, minutes to great attractions, huge lake (Raystown Lake), shopping, large stores, bars, restaurants, Giant Foods, Walmart, Dollar General, Liquor Stores, Beer Distributors, and fast foods are just minutes away. The brand new Dollar General has everything you can think of from coffee and drinks to toilet paper and sunscreen. Stop in it's just past the light on 22 and 829 at the base of the mountain.
