The apartment is lovely in a quaint little town close to many area attractions in Malaga. The host left clear instructions for use of all the amenities within the apartment as well as a nice range of ideas for exploring the local area. This place was a highlight of our trip to Spain!

Apartment with everything

Lovely accommodation. Great roof terrace and extremely comfortable main bedroom bed. Evening heating when needed couldn't be simpler with the excellent pellet woodstove that heated the whole apartment. Lovely village well sited. Parking could be difficult at times.

Fantastic*****

Absolutely charming property with a wonderful.view from the roof terrace. We had a very comfortable stay and Riogordo is a lovely village with enough amenties to make o It viable.... the village is set amongst olive groves but excellent road network makes it very easy to access main Andalucian sights further-a-field. Would highly recommend as a destination in its own right. Hope to return..

Good property for visiting inland villages. Good access to Autoroutes to visit Seville and Granada

Accommodation Good but would be small for 4 Adults. Balcony is great, brilliant views. No cushions for out door furniture and sun beds tired. No parking outside property due to paving work in village.

Beautiful little flat, with a little caveat for light sleepers.

The flat is lovely and extremely well-equipped, set in a charming village and beautiful surroundings. A wonderful little base for enjoying the locality. One is conscious of the great communication from the hosts and the extremely ready support if needed. We would like to unilaterally recommend this place, but have to offer a small caveat based on our particular experience. Sleep and rest was extremely important to us, but we did not have a great stay in this regard. I am not a fussy sleeper, although my wife does need a good mattress and support. We thus took encouragement from another review stating that the mattress was very comfortable, but we did not find it particularly so. The mattress was noticeably more worn on one side, and did not dampen movements very effectively. It should also be noted that the bedroom is small and relatively airless. If you are happy to rely on the air con unit, it is not a problem at all. Should you not like air con, then it is a very hot and stuffy sleep. Necessarily, a no-air con approach involves an open window, through which the local cockerels make themselves heard at interesting hours of the night. With the above, I don't wish to detract from the lovely experience otherwise, the delgihts of the apartment and locality, or the attentiveness of the hosts. However, I think this should be mentioned in fairness to potential clients, as what makes for a good sleep will necessarily vary from person to person.

Wij vonden het een heerlijk appartement: prettig gelegen in een klein dorp, in een mooie omgeving. Prachtig uitzicht vanaf het dakterras, zeer goed geoutilleerde keuken, gezellige inrichting (veel mooie, kleine details). Eén minpuntje: het bed in de ‘tussenkamer’ was niet zo comfortabel: een volwassene rolt er gemakkelijk uit, en door de lichtinval van boven word je (te) vroeg wakker. Het zou fijn zijn als daar een oplossing voor gevonden kon worden. Maar voor het overige niets dan lof! We hadden best langer willen blijven, vonden het jammer om weg te gaan.

Eintauchen in das andalusische Leben

Super gut erholt und viel gesehen. Riogordo ist ein sehr, sehr schöner Ort, um sich zu entspannen und ein guter Ausgangsort für Unternehmungen in die weitere Region. Zu empfehlen sind insbesondere Malaga. Ronda, Cordoba und – wenn man nicht, wie wir vergessen hätten, Karten für die Alhambra zu buchen, natürlich auch Grenada.Die Ferienwohnung war sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders toll war die Dachterrasse mit einem fantastischen Ausblick über Riogordo und in die Berge.Die Ferienwohnung und der Ort, das gilt auch für die vielen Lokale und die Wanderungen in der Umgebung sind zu empfehlen.

Un appartement très agréable, bien situé

L'appartement est bien situé dans Riogordo, proche des commerces. Il est spacieux, agréable, propre et bien équipé. La terrasse est un vrai plus et bien aménagée avec transat et table ombragée. Les principaux sites touristiques sont à moins d'1h30 de Riogordo.

Super Spanische Sensation!

Dies war ein schönes Zuhause fern von zu Hause. Die Bilder gaben eine genaue Vorstellung von der Aufteilung der Wohnung. Mit den Anweisungen der Gastgeber haben wir ohne Probleme die Wohnung gefunden. Die Kommunikation mit Simon und Jeannette war sehr einfach und unkompliziert. Es gibt genügend Geschirr und Kochutensilien, um Mahlzeiten für (2) Erwachsene zuzubereiten. Die Stadt ist überhaupt nicht touristisch (ein großes Plus!) und die Einheimischen waren sehr freundlich zu uns. Besonders die Terasse war wunderschön mit tollem Blick in die anliegenden Berge. Das Parken auf der Straße kann auf den sehr schmalen Straßen ein wenig schwierig sein. Wir haben uns jedoch schnell daran gewöhnt und hatten während unseres zweiwöchigen Aufenthalts keine Probleme. Wenn Sie einen längeren Aufenthalt planen, benötigen Sie auf jeden Fall einen Mietwagen für diese Wohnung. Es gibt ein paar kleinere Mercados in unmittelbarer Nähe der Wohnung, aber der größere Lebensmittelladen in Antequerra ist ~40 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Von hier aus kann man Andalusien sehr gut mit dem Mietwagen erkunden - Sevilla (etwas weiter weg), Malaga, Nerja und die Küste, Ronda und Cordoba sind in absolut akzeptabler Entfernung. Alles in allem hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt.

Vacances à Riogordo

Idéalement placé pour visiter l’Andalousie. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans l’appartement de Simon et Jeannette à Riogordo. Trois semaines idéales. Jeannette est très présente pour aider à trouver les activités intéressantes aux alentours de l’appartement. Les couchers de soleil sur le toit terrasse sont magnifiques. L’appartement est fonctionnel mignon, manque peut-être un peu de confort pour des moments détentes mais nous conseillons cette location.

SEJOUR EN ANDALOUSIE TRES AGREABLE

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la location de Jeanette et Simon, très propre, bien décorée et équipée (manque juste un mini-four, car nous apprécions de cuisiner...). Bien situé pour visiter les sites principaux de l'Andalousie. très bon contact avec Jeanette, toujours disponible pour répondre à nos différentes interrogations. Nous avons envie de revenir.. Perfect stay

Great location in the middle of Riogordo with easy access to lovely walking trails all around the hills. The apartment had everything we needed and a spacious roof terrace with a stunning view.

Gorgeous views

Lovely apartment. As described in details. Close to amenities, 2/3 shops few yards away. On our first evening a Tuesday, we had walk around. only found one bar open, after quite a walk around. On our last eve a Saturday we found several open, some that weren't even noticeable as bars/restaurants in the day. Do take ear plugs as there is a rather noisy cockerel from about 5 am! As it was a little chilly in the eves, Simon did provide a gas heater which did the trick. We visited other areas, Cutar - beautiful/stunning, and travelled down to Torre Del Mar, great shopping centre, close to beach. Overall a very enjoyable stay.
