At over 7,800 feet above sea level, Westcliffe offers clean air, wide open spaces, incomparable scenic beauty and some 300 square miles of public lands where one can enjoy hundreds of miles of trails, dozens of mountain lakes and herds of wildlife. These lands are also home to the Sangre de Cristo Wilderness area, Deweese Reservoir and nearby Arkansas River.
