The Carlton* 3 min walk to Downtown Mt. Dora!!

This property is just a short 3-minute walk to the main shopping and dining district of Mount Dora. First time on the market this beautifully decorated 900 square foot 5 Star rental has been recently remodeled to reflect its carriage house feel. As you enter into the living room you immediately notice the fine attention to detail in all the wood moldings along with the vintage style floors. A 65” 4K television that features Netflix and Hulu Live programming is available for your viewing pleasure. The kitchenette features sleek granite countertops, a stainless steel refrigerator with ice-maker, dishwasher and microwave as well as a Keurig coffee station. The island with bar stools and matching countertops features an induction cooktop. A ½ bath with full-size washer and dryer is immediately off the living room. As you enter the master suite you’ll notice a king-size bed with memory foam mattress with cooling gel and Egyptian cotton sheets. Handsome shiplap siding is featured in both the bedroom and on-suite bathroom. This bath features an over-sized walk-in shower to round out this nicely appointed space. The bedroom also includes a 55” 4K television. For additional guests, a sleeper sofa with a comfortable memory foam mattress is located in the living room. There is an outside porch with 2 bar height chairs where you can enjoy a glass of wine while you watch the sun go down!

We have stayed in many rental units, but the property was by far the best. The host's attention to detail was incredible. The unit is tastefully decorated and updated to the highest standards. It would be difficult to find something better than this. Our compliments to the host. It is an easy walk to downtown Mount Dora and just a few steps from Tony's Chowder House and their award winning clam chowder. Great place, great town and a great stay.

Lovely Place

Everything was as advertised. Lots of nice touches like wine and truffles waiting for us on arrival, a well stocked Keurig and designated parking. We really enjoyed our stay. Being able to walk to shops and restaurants was an added bonus.

Fabulous visit at The Franklin

The Franklin is a perfectly appointed home located within walking distance to all that Mount Dora has to offer. This is our second time staying at one of Talia’s rentals and we have had nothing but good experiences. The setup with the bedroom downstairs and it’s own wet bar and the pull out sofa upstairs with its own half bath was the ideal accommodation for our party. We look forward to returning!

Short mini vacation

Have been to Mount Dora before & wanted to stay close to town & in a nice place. The Carlton is all of that and more, it is a short 5 minute walk to the center of town and it is a 5 star place to stay. You are close enough to enjoy the town and all it has to offer and you are just far enough away to get the quietness that you are needing. We will definitely be back in the the fall!!!
