The perfect place to stay while visiting beautiful Mount Dora. Just a short walk or bike ride to historic downtown Mount Dora. Enjoy all the nearby shops, cafes and galleries. Located in an established neighborhood amongst other renovated historical cottages. Walk to the library, parks and to Lake Dora at sunset. Built in 1932, this inviting 2 bedroom 1 bath home has been recently renovated. The kitchen is fully equipped with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, and stove.

Host is quick to reply. Very clean and ac is very comfortable. Property is an awesome location to downtown close enough to enjoy downtown but just a few blocks away to enjoy some quiet. This was our 2nd stay and intend for future visits.

The mermaid house was fantastic. It was everything that we were looking for, and a short walk to downtown Mount Dora. It has everything you need. Steve was very accommodating and quick to respond to any questions. Highly recommend staying here!

Our first time in mount dora was wonderful! We highly recommend The Mermaid House. It is close to downtown shopping and restaurants. The house itself is so charming with the wood floors and old time charm. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect house for a girl's weekend! Very well appointed and comfortable with plenty of seating throughout. The kitchen was clean and had everything we needed for cooking in house. Great location in a quiet neighborhood only a short distance from downtown Mt Dora. Need to make a trip to this house an annual event!

Steve is an absolutely wonderful host. The house is certainly cute, but it is older. My sister and I were visiting family close by so we didn’t spend much time at the Mermaid House…basically just a nice, comfortable place to sleep. Didn’t use the kitchen at all and Steve was immediately on a small issue we had with the bathroom sink. Great location in a Mt. Dora neighborhood close to downtown.

This house is absolutely adorable! We loved our time there and would absolutely book again. The owner was incredibly responsive with all questions and even mailed back a dress that was accidents left. Could not recommend this property more!
