About this property

Cottage 4-12 people with Spa 10 minutes from Omaha Beach

We offer a renovated gite (opening June 2019) in a typical farmhouse in the region, 10 minutes from the landing beaches of Omaha Beach.
We will be pleased to welcome you in a green setting between land and sea, 2 km from all amenities (shops, pharmacy, etc.).
The gîte is equipped with:
- 1 fitted kitchen
-1 large living room with television and table football
-5 bedrooms:
1 bedroom on the ground floor with a 160 cm bed and its private bathroom
3 bedrooms upstairs with a 160 cm double bed
1 bedroom with 2 single beds of 90 cm and a trundle bed (2 x 80 cm)
3 bathrooms

Outside, you can relax in the spa with a capacity of 7 seats, enjoy the pétanque field, or simply sit in a deckchair.
We are located 5 minutes from the expressway (N13), 10 minutes from the beaches of Omaha Beach, the American cemetery and 15 minutes from Bayeux (medieval town).

Family Trip to Normandy

This is a lovely dairy farm with beautiful views and modern accommodations. Our host was gracious in everyway. The village of Trevieres is 3 minutes away with bakeries, butcher shops, etc which provided many of our daily needs. Super convenient to WW II sites in all directions.

Beautiful Country Stay in Normandy Region

Even more peaceful than the images were able to depict. Beautiful country location. A short drive from Bayeux and the various Beaches of Normandy. And easy drive of a little over two hours from Paris.

Lovely place!

We all very much enjoyed our stay. We came to visit landing beaches and musea but very much enjoyed coming back to the cottage and got tub in the evening. The house very clean. Very friendly host. We would very much recommend this cottage to others.

Really perfect location!

Our host Karine was exceptional! She met our family as we arrived and assisted us with the first details and questions we needed. The location was perfect for getting to Bayeaux and the DDay beaches.We all enjoyed the spaciousness of the property and some of us enjoyed the hot tub after our days of touring. There is a convenient Cocci grocery store near by ( just about a mile) that met all our needs. My youngest grand daughter ( 10) really enjoyed the nearby cows and seeing the other animals. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again. Thank you Karine!!!

Exactly what we were seeking

We stayed at this house for 4 nights during our visit to the area to visit the D-Day attractions. It was a beautiful place on a beautiful property located remotely but still reasonably accessible to the area attractions. The house was nice and newly renovated; the owners were very welcoming and helpful; and the price was very reasonable for the quality of the accommodations. We'd definitely stay again and recommend anyone visiting on a similar type trip to do the same.

Charming and clean

Our stay was exactly what we had hoped for. The property was located on a darling farm and we woke up to the most beautiful view. The home was updated and very clean. The home is spacious and had plenty of room for the group of 11 we had staying there. Did I mention how clean this home was?!?! We were so grateful for Karen who was friendly and attentive to our every need.

Great property for our large group

The setting is wonderful, with beautiful scenery. We enjoyed watching the cows! The nine of us had plenty of space to stretch out and have privacy when desired. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, and really enjoyed being able to sit and eat together. Every bed was comfortable, and it was great to have five bedrooms for our mixed-age group. Cleanliness is hugely important when choosing a place to stay, and this house met and exceeded our expectations on that front. The hot tub and foosball table were well used! This is a perfect location for visiting the D-day sites. We all highly recommend it.

Perfect Choice

This is the perfect house for any size group. There were 11 in my group and the house was all that was advertised and more. It is in a beautiful country setting and has all the amenities. necessary to make you feel right at home. The hot tub and covered outdoor sitting/eating area added to the experience. The location is excellent for touring all of the Overlord Landing beaches, St. Lo, and Bayeux. Miss Karine is an excellent hostess and made our stay very pleasant. If you are planning a trip to Normandy, This is your place!

Beautiful home on the Normandy countryside near Omaha Beach

This is a special place. It's in a terrific location close to the highway and a short drive from Omaha Beach. The owner is a lovely woman. The house is rustic on the outside and updated on the inside. Very comfortable and charming. The views of the cows in the fields and town in the distance are wonderful. We really enjoyed the hot tub and privacy. There is a small town nearby with a small grocery store and 2 wonderful bakeries. Buying food and eating out was challenging since there are limited hours for businesses and restaurants. The wifi at the house was slow. Regardless, this home we highly recommend and we had a wonderful stay with 8 family members (3 generations).
