Beautiful Oceanfront Penthouse ~ Incredible Views ~ Pool

Get away from it all at this penthouse oceanfront paradise. The 180-degree views are spectacular from the common areas with a full wall of glass doors! Grab your morning coffee and sit on the expansive deck to watch the colorful sun rise over the horizon. Take a walk down the stairs and your toes are in the white sandy beach. And the beach— with the limited public access — is perfect for shell hunting, fishing, swimming, surfing, or just sitting! Spend the day watching the tide going out of the Inlet creating tide pools to wade in and then watch the tide rise as the waves splash against “The Rocks” - limestone and coquina formations. The beach seems to change every day. Finish your day with dinner — either cooked in your well- equipped kitchen or from one of the great local restaurants — taking in the pink and blue hues as the sun sets on a perfect Summer Haven day.

The third floor walk-up has an open concept living space with volume ceilings is great to gather for dinner after a day on the beach or to watch the big game.

When it is time to rest, the condominium has two large bedrooms -- one bedroom with a king bed and the second with two full size beds. For added flexibility, there is also a large sleeping nook accessed from the living/tv room (see images). The nook has a twin and full bed with a small sitting area.

Summer Haven Beach is located just south of Saint Augustine historic district by about 10 minutes. There are plenty of attractions near the rental – Fort Matanzas, Marineland, Fishing, State Parks, to name a few. If there is more, you are seeking, it is more you shall find. Head into Saint Augustine for some history and shopping. Continue north a bit for Jacksonville, and maybe take in a Jacksonville Jaguars NFL team. Possibly a round of golf in Sawgrass Ponte Vedra, or 18 holes at the World Golf Village?

Head south from the vacation rental to hit Flagler Beach, Daytona Beach, and eventually, Cape Canaveral. All within a short drive. Orlando theme parks like Disney and Universal Studios are just a day trip away. Relax at the beach, hit the theme parks, and come back for more relaxation at Crescent Beach.

Wonderful vacation

Everything about this was perfect. The view from the back deck was beautiful and provided quick access to the beach. The kitchen was well stocked with cooking equipment and the outside closet had a great variety of beach toys. We saw sea turtles, shrimp, crabs, fish, and dolphins. We will definitely stay again!

Stayed here a couple weeks ago. We are a family of 5, traveling with our French Bulldog. Everything was great and clean. My 13yo son enjoyed the "3rd" bedroom and loved that he had ocean views from his bed. This location is perfect for St Augustine an. d Flagler Beach.

The View

This is a perfect beach vacation. Sitting on the top floor deck, you can see the sweeping views up and down the beach. Not only do you get access to a private beach, the oceanfront changes daily to give you new areas to explore. It is in close proximity to excellent restaurants and other sightseeing events like the lighthouse, alligator zoo, and fun mini golf. The condo is stocked with all the essentials with a family of six.

Beautiful location

The best sunrise view! Lots of room and seating. I was especially impressed with how well stocked the kitchen is. Close to town and grocery store. I will say be ready for stairs, but it's worth it ! We had a great vacation here!

Wonderfully relaxing place to stay. Condo has everything you need for a great vacation. Private covered balcony makes this idyllic - we spent 95% of our time out there, the shade was great and the height (yes - worth every one of the steps) means there always a beautiful ocean breeze! We will be back for sure!

Amazing views

We really enjoyed our stay. The unit was clean. It’s older but well maintained. The kitchen is well equipped. The views are wonderful! The beds were comfy with lots of pillows. The master bedroom shower was very spacious. You do have to climb a lot of stairs to get there, but the ocean view is worth it.

Relax and Recharge

The Sea Matanzas is our favorite beach getaway spot! It’s right on the beach and there are usually very few people, so it’s very relaxing and beautiful. It’s also not very far to St Augustine if you want to go sight-seeing, shopping, or dine out!

What a great setting on a rather secluded beach!

The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed. The beach was fantastic and wonderful for walks with our dog. There are some great restaurants within about 5 or 6 miles in either direction. We'll be back!

Oceanview Deck

The location can't be beat. The oceanview deck is absolutely fantastic, and worthy of ten stars. The giant chocolate lab in unit 6 below us barked for 2 1/2 days straight and that was a significant distraction. Otherwise, the good far outweighed the bad.
