Private Villa at Red Frog Beach Resort

This two story vacation villa is located at Red Frog Beach Resort on Bastimentos island set amid the enchanted Caribbean Archipelago of Bocas del Toro. We have a partial ocean view from the dining table and front patio. This was the "model home" and features the largest pool and patio deck of the villas in the Red Frog Beach resort. Granite countertops in bathrooms and kitchen. Travertine tile throughout the villa. The wrap around porch has seating areas overlooking the rainforest canopy and of course filtered Caribbean views. Tropical fruit trees. Quiet neighborhood. A golf cart to get around the island comes with the villa for an additional $350-$500 per week (depending on length of stay) during your visit.

This property is amazing, we had Monkeys and Sloths right in our front and back yard. Getting around was quick and easy with just a call or text for a ride, the house is well equiped and the pool is refreshing. The beaches near by are beautiful.

Great way to enjoy Bastiamentos and Red Frog Beach

What a wonderful property and the host is such a great communicator, making preparation and staying there easy. I'd recommend getting food/drink/water supplies on the main island before coming over as the local store is good but is sometimes out of a few things

Nice villa at a beautiful Red Frog Resort

Red Frog Resort and our villa were beautiful. The villa was spacious with a nice kitchen and very clean. We enjoyed our stay. Renting a golf cart is very helpful because the resort is quite large.

Awesome property!

We every much enjoyed our stay at villa 4 at Red Frog Resort. The villa is lovely, spacious, and well-maintained, and the resort is beautiful as well. This villa is on the Red Frog property with full access to all amenities and services of the resort in addition to having its own private pool, which our kids loved. Brett was communicative and helpful with checking in and answering questions. He was also great about giving us a later check-out since our flight wasn’t departing until that evening. Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend.

Amazing stay

We had a great stay at bretts villa. The house was huge. Property was gorgeous. We were worried how we'd be treated by the resort bc we rented through vrbo but it was like we were regular resort guests. The pool was amazing! A huge plus. And the washer and dryer is great to have. We even saw a whole family of white face capuchin monkeys in the trees right behind our pool Definitely stay here! And get the golf cart

Paradise - need I say more?

This was our first time visiting Isla de Bastimentos and it will surely not be our last! The villa’s pictures do not do it justice, but the villa’s surroundings even outdo it! From the Villa we saw a sloth, white faced monkeys, many hummingbirds - including a mother hummingbird feeding her baby in a nest built over the pool! The green parrots were a regular especially every morning and afternoon. We took advantage of the villa’s washer and dryer almost daily. The nearby beaches were practically desolate and so beautiful. The restaurants nearby served great food and drinks - it was hard to pick a favorite. One day we went out and bought lobsters from the locals for 5 dollars each and had LaRosa restaurant prepare them for us….so delicious. Every worker at the resort were so accommodating and friendly. You most definitely will need a golf cart and you will have to fly into PTY airport then to BOC airport by way of AirPanama. It will take most of a day to get here and back to the states so keep that in mind when deciding on how many days. We stayed 5, but could have stayed a few longer.

New Years and Relaxation

Brett was very helpful in planning and once we arrived we enjoyed beach time, pool time, restaurants and all Red Frog Beach has to offer. Great place and while there I would recommend a tour of Coral Restoration - great to see their work and then snorkel and see coral, sponges and diverse fish. Really cool!

Why they chose this property

It's the best location! Private and visits from the local family of capuchin monkeys. We planted tropical fruit trees many years ago and please enjoy!
