Renovated Modern Farmhouse on just under 8 acres and backs up to over 3,300 acres of Evansburg state park. There are 26 miles of trails in the park, along with fishing and hunting.
The home is certainly unique, and the original portion of the main house dates to the early 1800s. Through many additions, the home has expanded upon the original structure to include the main house, guest house, and garage.
On the outside, you'll find plenty of room to roam with expansive green space, hardscaped patios, porches, in-ground pool, pool pavilion, and even a playground! The front courtyard boasts a unique trellis structure along with plenty of seating, outdoor fireplace, and gas grill. The original stone portion of the home provides a quaint side porch with rocking chairs for you to slow the pace down a bit take in the serene surroundings. Finally, perhaps the best for last is the resort-like pool area. It's easy to spend an entire day lounging poolside, swimming, watching TV under the pavilion, or reading a book.... The list goes on as there's something for everyone! An additional item to note is the attached spa on the pool. The spa is only open when the pool is open but is available to use/heat independent of the pool in the fringe parts of the pool season such as April and into the end of October.
The original springhouse has been converted into a gym with free weights, heavy bag, rowing machine, and elliptical.
Moving into the fully renovated main house you'll find a voluminous 2 story foyer with grand floating spiral staircase. Wide plank flooring coursing through wide halls lead you to a gourmet kitchen equipped to handle any occasion. Kitchen features include a huge island with seating, dining table with seating for 6-8, couch/upholstered chairs, TV, fireplace, beverage bar, oversized gas range, pot-filler, 2 beverage refrigerators, and a commercial refrigerator. In the kitchen, you can interact with Alexa who will provide music throughout the home if you desire.
The main floor of the main home has 2 half baths and a full bath which is great for after the pool. There is a formal living room with wood burning fireplace,, a lounge area with pool table, wet bar, and beverage refrigerator. Off the lounge is a family room with cathedral ceilings, huge comfy couch, and 65" TV. Finally, completing the first floor is a den with luxurious leather furnishings, wood burning fireplace, and walls that would talk if they could!
Upstairs in the main house, find 5 bedrooms in 3 distinct areas.
The "beam" bedroom is the first of three "family suites" setup to sleep four with a queen bed and twin over twin bunk. Deep sills, vaulted ceiling, and exposed beams original to the home makes this one of the more architecturally interesting rooms in the house and for me personally one of my favorite! There is a full bath on the hall that can match this bedroom.
Moving forward in the upper hall, you'll find the "loft" area which has a living room with games, TV, comfy furnishings, and a wet bar. There are 3 bedrooms in the loft area are configured as follows. Bedroom 1 has a king bed, two closets, and a spectacular view of the front portion of the property. Bedroom 2 is adjacent to the full bath and is outfitted with a queen bed and walk in closet. Bedroom 3 sleeps 4 with two twin over twin bunk beds. Finally, there is a full bath with 2 vanities, freestanding double slipper soaking tub along with a glass enclosed shower.
The master suite - the second of three "family suites" starts with a fabulous morning room equipped with a wet bar, beverage fridge, and comfy chairs to decompress. Moving along you'll find the first of two sleeping quarters in the master wing outfitted with a twin over twin bunk bed, loveseat, gas fireplace, and TV. Finally, moving to the end of the master is another bedroom with a luxurious king bed, gas fireplace, TV, and unbelievable walk-in closet. Finally, pamper yourself in the full bath boasting a claw foot soaking tub, huge walk in STEAM shower for two, and double vanity.
The guest house is its own self-contained home with private entrance. There is a living room with TV and a fully-stocked kitchen with half bath. Upstairs, find the third "family suite" with 2 queen beds, a twin over twin bunk and a stylish full bath.
Early check-ins, and late check-outs are extremely hard to accommodate due to cleaning and maintenance schedules. Please do not assume these can be accommodated. If you would like more time, please book accordingly. Thank you for understanding!
*EXCESSIVE NOISE WILL ABSOLUTELY NOT BE TOLERATED.* With that said.... Sorry for the excessive caps! In all seriousness though I certainly don't want this to come off as our home being the "no fun house". Rather, I mention this simply to make the distinction between music being played at a reasonable volume vs at a 10 or someone yelling compared to people gathering and having a conversation. This would go for any time of the day but especially at night. The neighbors should not hear your music or feel like they're part of your conversation! Additonally, there are a total of 6 exterior cameras on-site. The locations are as follows - Front door, mudroom door, courtyard door, side porch door, guest house side door, and pavilion.

House and surrounding property are meticulously maintained. Jeff is easy to communicate with and always helpful. The house is even nicer in person than in the listing pictures!
This is a wonderfull house to host a large mixed family group. There is so much common space on the main floor and the house is well appointed. We came with a multi-generational family group and the house made it very easy for everyone to enjoy the visit.
Just spent 3 nights as this amazing home with family for a holiday get together. It was decorated beautifully, very clean, comfortable and well stocked with all you need. So much space to be together, but also have some quiet time when needed. Jeff, the property manager, is very responsive and wonderful to work with. Highly recommend!
This property was perfect for our large family to stay comfortably when we were in town for a wedding. There was enough comfortable spaces for everyone to find a their perfect spot. The kitchen was well equipped enough for us to prepare large meals and the outdoor areas were furnished and lush. I would absolutely stay here again.
Family from out of town gathered to celebrate college graduation - property was incredible! Well apportioned, plenty of room, plenty to do. Would highly recommend
We spent our vacation with our immediate family - 4 adult children, their spouses and our 6 young adult grandchildren. The house and all the supplies were immaculate. The
This house is fantastic! It's super clean and spacious, with many lovely features. Our family had a wonderful time, and we loved everything about it. Jeff is a great host. We would love to return in the future.
We had a great time here. Mark was super responsive and the house was extremely clean. The only downside was a few dining chairs were unstable and there was a leak in the guest house. Other than that would highly recommend!

Hi Stephanie, glad you enjoyed your stay! You readily admitted that you broke the 2 chairs and stated as much prior to check-out. You texted me about a leak at 6:02 PM on your first night, I responded at 6:03 PM. I asked where the leak was and what was happening, and you responded 51 hours later. Upon check out, no leak was discovered.
My family and I stayed here for a big family reunion and the pictures do not do it justice. The home was beautiful, the perfect space for family time. Jeff was always quick to respond to any questions I had. My family and I definitely want to come back and recreate the whole time.
This was my second time staying at this property. I enjoyed it just as much the second time as the first. I look forward to booking another reservation when I’m back in the Philadelphia area.
We spent 7 days here with a large group. The house was ideal for 5 families. Plenty of space for everyone to spread out if needed. We didn’t use many of the indoor activities the house had to offer since we spent each day at the awesome pool. We will be coming back again to make more summer memories.

Chris, thanks for the review. We are glad you had a good time and we hope to see you again next summer!
This property was the perfect fit for multiple families staying the week between two weekend tournaments. We had a variety of different age kids and had never all stayed together. There was more than enough room for people to be together or have some alone time. No need to plan activities because this place has everything! Thank you for the amazing stay and we will be back!
2nd year in a row bringing 17 women to this amazing property for a 3-night women’s retreat! We didn’t think it was possible to top last year - but somehow it did (perfect weather helped)! Thanks Jeff for doing above and beyond - it’s a dream come true kinda place!!!
We had our annual family vacation at this beautiful home. The host was very quick to respond to some questions and communicated well. We had lots of room and activities for the whole extended family. The outside spaces were great. Our grandkids wanted to go to the park everyday. The property is so large and beautiful the kids thought the outside of the house was a park. We had a warm day and were able to enjoy the pool and spa. It was like being at a beautiful private resort.
This is our 2nd time staying at this property. We had a great time enjoying the pool and the property. We were also pleased to see air conditioning in the fitness center. We had 19 people total (ages 1 - 63) and had plenty of room for all of us. The pool was cleaned 2 times during our stay which was great. Except for the food store we never left the property during our entire week long stay. There were plenty of things to keep us busy. I would definitely recommend this property to other families.
We had several family members in the area for a memorial service and needed beds, but more importantly a place to gather. The host was gracious in allowing us to gather after the memorial service with family (those registered plus others…not a party, a quiet gathering) at the house. We prepared a lovely meal to share with all family that gathered to say their good-byes. We reminisced, laughed and cried over our loved one. It was a very relaxing, and there was plenty of room to move about and comfortable for all ages.
Words cannot adequately describe the magnificent vacation we enjoyed at this beautiful, gigantic farmhouse. Farmhouse does not do it justice. It was an absolutely gorgeous estate. The interior was hugely expansive, easily accommodating all 23 of us. The heated pool, ping pong and billiards table, play ground and bean bag toss all added to our immense delight. We absolutely recommend this vacation getaway to everyone and intend to return ourselves. Thank you, Jeff!
This was a perfect location to host our family Thanksgiving dinner. The house was stocked with all the necessities to prepare our turkey day feast. There was an issue with the small oven, thankfully the other 2 ovens were working. Jeff was very attentive and addressed any issues in a timely fashion. The house was very spacious and made a perfect place for the bride and groom to get ready for their big day. 10/10

Why they chose this property
There's countless reasons why I love this property. Perhaps at the top of the list is that I believe it to be truly one of a kind. It never gets old and is gratifying to hear how the home seems to illicit the same feeling from guests as they come and make their own unique memories.
What makes this property unique
The home has amazing privacy, yet it is still so close to so many great places. The home has been used for filming, photoshoots, celebrity stays, etc. There is a guest house that is attached but separate from the main home which allows additional privacy if desired.
