What a lovely cottage (and porch) in the perfect location for our family’s historic downtown Apalachicola wedding! So clean, well equipped and walkable to everywhere we needed to be.I cannot express enough gratitude to the host (Beth), who accommodated our need for early check in and worked with us with generosity and understanding! Thank you!

Wonderful guests that we would recommend to any host!
The cottage was very accessible/accommodating and absolutely LOVED the location. The area was perfect for walking with dogs. Beth was excellent to work with & so friendly. We only wish was that the king bed had been downstairs. We definitely recommend Blue Moon Cottage to anyone that is considering a trip to Apalach.
Our new favorite “go-to”! Beth is amazing to work with, the place is gorgeous and the overall accommodations are wonderful. Can’t wait to stay here in the near future!!
The property is in a great location, and is an easy walk or bike to most of the things to do in Apalachicola. The house is much larger than it appears on the outside, and can comfortably house a larger party like ours. It is very well equipped and stocked, and the host is very communicative. Will definitely look to stay here again next time we're in the area.
We always come fishing with Dennis Crosby the day after thanksgiving. This is the first time I’ve stayed in this property but I can assure you it won’t be the last!
We came to Apalachicola for our daughters wedding. Blue Moon was in the center of downtown. The space in the house and yard made us feel a little secluded which was nice and quiet. We walked everywhere! I was shocked at how perfect everything was. I highly recommend booking here for your next stay in Apalach.
We loved staying in the Blue Moon. It was in the perfect location to walk around and explore Apalachicola. The quick drive to St. George Island State Park provided us with a lovely beach experience, which, of course, included lunch at the Blue Parrot. We loved the fun decor and the porch swing was definitely a plus. Very clean and charming. Only request would be a Keurig coffee maker, however they did provide filters and coffee for the coffee maker they had. Highly recommend this little jewel.
For our family ,appalachicola is perfect for first leg of annual florida trip. . . 4-days . . .then 6 in Anna Maria orSt Pete to catch spring training . Blue Moon did not dissapoint..Love the town ,merchants, terrific food and surrounding activities..Will definitely return to your town and property. You feel instantly at home in the Blue Moon.
Quaint, roomy, high ceilings, close to water, everything worked (except front bath outlet) comfy, some beds better than others…
great gathering spots. The stairs are not for old people 😂….
All in all, a very pleasant stay.
The house was very charming and had character, The location was terrific. During our stay it was unusually cold weather for the area and the heating system could not keep up, but that is understandable, (The cold front was hitting a large portion of the country,) The kitchen had ample supply of cookware and dishes, Beds were comfortable and clean, Having access to the cute outdoor area was nice, Just wish it had been warmer outside so we could have enjoyed that space, Mother nature didn't cooperate. Would stay there again and recommend to others,
We were not told that the house had changed into 2 vrbos and we should have been told. But it was settled

The listing description was exactly what the client booked and paid for. Having stayed at Blue Moon in the past does not guarantee future rates/offerings. Ultimately guest was given something he had NOT paid for and therefore should have been satisfied.

We retired to Apalachicola from the Chesapeake Bay area. Owning a 100+ year old home in the south is a labor of love! We enjoy the challenge of keeping the charm while modernizing.
