July 4 OPEN! Perfect spot on lake for fishing! Spacious home & backyard
Beautiful land w/ eagles close by and a path behind our house to lake access! Our lake house has A LOT of room! Almost 2000 sq feet to enjoy inside and outside spaces. We picked this home for how many it will sleep plus the TVA land that is right behind us that leads to a beautiful view of the lake. We have a King bed in the master and comfortable Queen beds in the spare room. If you have extras coming, plenty of sleeping areas on a Queen pull out couch and a futon in the game room. Extra living space in the sun room and game room with pool table and dart board.

So glad you came and enjoyed it! We have stocked the home with many games we play as well in the evenings after a fun game of pool! We really enjoy the home as much as spending time on the lake. Hope to have you back!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! The owners put such thought into their cabin and really went out of their way to make it special for guests. We loved having the pool table, dart board, fire pit and porch swing. It was very peaceful hanging out under the gazebo and sitting near the gas fire. Thank you for sharing your home!
We went there for a family trip and this place was Perfect. It rained the entire time so we had to change our boating plans but we still had fun playing games and making some good food!! This was Very stocked up and that was so Wonderful not having to really bring alot!!! Thank you for the great stay!!!!
My husband and I stayed here with my parents. The home was perfect!! We enjoyed the places we could sit and relax. The home was well stocked with the essentials we needed. I really hated we had to leave a night early because of approaching bad weather. We would definitely recommend this home.
Everything was great until the last night my mom was bit by a bed bug in the face. I would suggest working on the landscaping, keep the cushion/pillows clean under the gazebo and add a wooden privacy fence.

We have woods all around our property but we do have regular pest control and no bed bugs in the home. People can also be bit outside and it shows up later which may have happened with a single bite. Thank you for the suggestion of a fence - we are considering a fence for more privacy since bushes between homes were removed over the winter by our neighbors. We do replace cushions twice a year and with it being spring, it is time for that. Our yard is beautiful and open in the back with tall trees - if we have a lot of rain that may delay a mowing for us but otherwise we are on a schedule for that. Thank you for coming and feedback!

4 adults stayed very comfortably for Easter weekend and we had all we needed. It rained but it didn’t matter. Games, pool table, plenty of couch spaces to relax, awesome lake decor, great kitchen with coffee pot/keurig, and very comfy beds. Clean and well- maintained - not too far from Corinth and Iuka.
We loved it!
The directions were accurate and easy. This house has an awesome setup. Lots of space to spread out. All the furniture was very comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need. I absolutely loved the shower in the big bathroom. My only complaint was that we did not stay long enough. Thank You!
The home was plenty of room for my family with lots of outdoor sitting room and open back yard. We enjoyed walking to the lake daily. The kitchen was large and modern with lots of pots, pans, spices and all that would ever be needed to make a family meal. Beds were extremely comfortable and cozy. Clean and well thought out for needs for a family gathering including out small fur baby. Thank you!
Clean, very comfortable, beautiful, and well stocked cabin!
We have an excellent weekend staying at this beautiful home Iuka. We have family nearby and we loved having a very clean and a comfortable home to prepare our food and rest in between visits. The cabin is beautifully decorated and very clean. Very well stocked in the kitchen, extra towels, supplies, and they had a great coffee station with several coffees and hot chocolate. We loved the cozyness but plenty of room for our group of 8. The beds are SO comfortable we overslept. The owners were very flexible and allowed us a late checkout. Great communication and support from the owner. We will be renting again — probably this summer! Love the close proximity to the Pickwick lake.

Great guests! We have an upgraded King bed in the master than raises and lowers for extra comfort. There is a lot of living space in the home so a group of 8-10 can be comfortable...we have a large family and love it too! Hope to have you come again!
Cute house, quiet neighborhood. Information sent stated to put trash in bags provided under sink. There were none. Had to go buy some. The internet information was different than what I was sent but we found it. I would suggest you update your information. Overall we had a relaxing week.

We are happy to hear the week was relaxing - it is a home away from home for many reasons and provides a place to be close to nature. We love it at night where we can see the stars. We do offer a great many extras at our home because we are there often as well and we just leave it stocked. We were not aware the trash bags were out and we have a storage area for all extra supplies to provide anything that is out had we known. Also, our directions on VRBO should be followed as Google maps can be confusing in the area unfortunately. We will make sure this is noted more clearly, thank you!
The home is clean, comfortable and cozy. Our family enjoyed playing board games, pool and fishing/swimming in the lake located at the rear of the property. We enjoyed watching the deer go across the path to the lake and playing kickball and volleyball in the yard. We made smores over the fire oit out back, home made ice cream, orange juice and lemonade there. The house is well equipped with everything you need for your stay minus some personal hygiene products. However our overall stay was amazing. We ventured to mineral springs state park, pickwick state park, and the near by stores. Brooke's grocery is an amazing store with homemade goodies and friendly people. We love Iuka and plan to visit again sometime.
Thank you so much for an awesome stay at your beautiful home during our Thanksgiving holiday visiting family in TN. We brought our two fur babies and they loved the quiteness and walking in the leaves each day to the lake. Thank you for being super responsive to all our questions. We hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving! Kathy and Ron

About the host
Hosted by Richard Barbas
We have been in the vacation rental business for fourteen years and love to travel ourselves. We own a cottage by a creek in the Pigeon Forge area as well as this wonderful Pickwick lake house; we truly enjoy hosting to help create wonderful experiences and getaways. We believe in taking time for family and getting away from the busy lives we lead. Some of our best memories are from our travels.
Why they chose this property
This is beautiful property we purchased for our family and friends and it is close to our home town so we can get to it frequently - we have enjoyed Pickwick for years. We love that the home is large enough to sleep all the grandkids and that it has so many living spaces with an open kitchen floor plan. The backyard is like a park and a wonderful treed TVA path leads to a large opening to the lake - gorgeous views and access for us when we are on the boat. We are on a dead end road so it is quiet and peaceful with plenty of stars to see at night by the fire pit and we even have a pair of eagles nesting in a neighboring yard by the lake. We totally love it and are sharing it with guests, friends and family. Enjoy!
What makes this property unique
The ability to walk to the lake behind our home without the high price of a waterfront rental is a definite benefit to this home. We don't have a dock behind the house but we are about 2 minutes from the Tom Bigbee boat ramp at Yellow Creek and close to Aqua Yacht Marina. The location is perfect on the lake for access to Tom Bigbee and Goat Island as well as to the main Tennessee River channel. We drop anchor right behind our home and with a pontoon style boat, you can come right to shore to walk to the house.
