Cabin 3 is a quaint little studio cabin tucked within some trees in the small forest town of Twin Peaks. It's nestled in the San Bernardino mountains less than 10 miles from Lake Arrowhead. Enjoy dozens of outdoor activities in the area year round, like snowboarding and offroading or summer lake activities. Then come back to your cabin and snuggle up after taking a bath or rain shower in our luxurious stand-alone tub. This cabin does not have a kitchen although there is a small fridge and a coffee machine. There's a variety of good restaurants just minutes away.
The cabin is on 4.5 acres of private land, tucked among some trees about 50 feet up Mile High Road, which is right off Highway 189. It feels completely remote but you're actually minutes away from restaurants and grocery stores.
Sorry, but since this cabin is small, we don't allow pets (all other cabins, except for 3 and 4 do allow pets). When you rent a cabin in the woods, you'll be sharing the mountain with the creatures who call it home. If you're squeamish about the occasional spider or bug, this cabin may not be for you! Thank you for embracing mountain life with us!

About the host
Hosted by Laura Guidry
The Perch is owned by a family that had a vision of how special this property was. We love the mountain area and were excited to create something really special here.
The cabins were built in the 30's, and it was one of the earliest resorts in the area, called Mile High Resorts. But it had fallen into disrepair by the time we bought the property in late 2018. We spent the next year upgrading the property and restoring the cabins in an exciting and stylish way. We opened up at the end of 2019.
Why they chose this property
The Perch is unique in the mountain area for various reasons. Each private cabin was built in the early 30s, and we have maintained the integrity of the original structure, so it's pretty rustic and simple. However, each cabin's interior has been lovingly and aesthetically furnished.
Each cabin is unique, with eclectic, stylish furnishings and quality linens. The Perch gives you the opportunity to truly get away and disconnect, We invite you to a simple life with no TVs or jacuzzies -- there aren't even roads or driveways and the cabins have no addresses. Instead, you'll have the forest, a large flat open field and lots of nature around you to explore. We are close to hikes, parasailing, off-roading, winter sports, and lakes.
What makes this property unique
The real benefit with any of the cabins at The Perch is the privacy, quiet, and the feeling of peacefulness in this space.
You'll find the basics, like linens, coffee, shampoo etc. For anything else, there are supermarkets within 10 minutes of your cabin. The major benefit is the peace and quiet, ability to disconnect and get back to the simple life.
Unlike most other rental properties on the mountain, The Perch can legally offer the exclusive use of the property to groups of 12 or more. Retreat guests enjoy our barn, BBQ, outdoor and indoor fireplaces, outdoor and indoor games, and our outdoor deck, and additional services like yoga, massage, forest bathing and more. When you book, send an inquiry and we'll tell you more.
