This is a luxurious, beautiful, modern and spacious multi-level villa in a remote area yet, located 20 minutes from Huatulco International Airport. The Villa has a master suite with bathroom, 2 bedrooms each with private a bathroom, a mini-suite with fridge & counter at the pool level. All rooms have AC.
Two big pergolas with ocean views are located at terraces. The villa is designed for outdoor living: pool in the middle, hammocks and chaises lounges to relax and a great garden. There are 2 beaches walking distance.

Salchi Heaven in the clouds

Such a great home with all the amenities you need to truly escape. The host was gracious and more than helpful about places to go, directions and recommendations. She referred us to the best snorkel excursion any of us had ever been on. None of us wanted to leave at the end of our stay.

I am Karen the owner of this Villa. I am originally from Ciudad de Mexico but moved about 30 years ago to Los Angeles, and still live in LA with my family.
I love to travel and adore visit Mexico and in particular Oaxaca. I love its food, its people and its beaches. It was always my husband's dream to have a house at the beach in Mexico and we finally did it!
You will be sharing our dream house.

Why they chose this property

This is a unique property that was planned by both my father and I. He has been an architect for over 50 years and I started doing interior design a few years ago, together we started this project.
I finalized it and tried to design and decorate it with a Mexican-modern touch but also with my unique version of "happy living". This is one of the few properties in the area with a private pool and spacious luxurious interiors. We are close to two different beaches walking distance and are located near lots of trees and vegetation thus making it easy to view birds native to Oaxaca.

What makes this property unique

You will be experiencing Mexican beaches and nature, the way I did when I was growing up, before the "all inclusive", busy and noisy beaches. The area is still pretty rural and rustic and we all hope it stays like that. The small village of Cuatunalco is sleepy and has friendly and kind people. The Villa is close to the airport and Huatulco and also on the way to Zipolite and Puerto Escondido. Lots of places to visit or just stay near relax and enjoy the view.
