If you are ready for quiet retreat – Eagle’s View is waiting on you! This cute little two bedroom cabin is perched on a hillside near the Beavers Bend State Park entrance. Slow Summer evenings are easy to spend relaxing and grilling on the large deck, hidden high in the limbs of surrounding trees. This comfortable getaway is ideal for couples and small families looking to spend time enjoying all Beavers’ Bend and Hochatown have to offer. You’ll find a kingbed, bunk bed, and a pair of comfortable couches inside, ready to welcome you home after a long memorable day. Because the cabin is outfitted with linens, towels, a ready to cook modern kitchen, large fire pit, and cable TV on the large flat screen; it could be a snap to spend all your time at the cabin – relaxing and simply getting away from it all. But this ideal location means you aren’t far from several restaurants, live music, outdoor activities, and the lake. Whether this vacation includes all the kids and family dog, or is just you and that special someone, memories are waiting to be made at Eagle’s View.

This cabin does have a circle drive, however, it is not ideal for most boat trailers or inexperienced trailer pullers, you may have some trouble accessing the parking area. If you are not comfortable pulling a trailer into this cabin, you are welcome to leave it at our office. Space is limited and it is first come, first served.

This cabin is pet friendly. Guests may have two (2) small dogs with a $20 per night non-refundable pet fee. All dogs must be kenneled if left alone in the cabin. Pets are not allowed on the furniture or in/on the beds otherwise additional cleaning fees may apply.

Located in the heart of Kiamichi country lies the incomparable splendor of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. Surrounded by the natural beauty of Beaver’s Bend State Park, the Ouachita National Forest and the Kiamichi Mountains, this is the place to lose yourself in hunting, fishing, hiking, canoeing. The place to find yourself while surrounded by tall pines, crisp rivers and clean mountain air. The place to make memories that you will draw on for a lifetime.

The Beavers’ Bend / Hochatown area does not have public transportation. There is at this time a private ride share company that will pick up and drop off between most cabins and area attractions, restaurants, shopping, etc. There is currently not any Uber or Lyft options.

All cabins located in the Hochatown area are 5 to 15 minutes from most destinations around the lake and park. This of course depends on traffic. Summer and other peak holidays experience higher traffic, typically Fridays after 2pm and Saturdays between 10am and 4pm. Offpeak weekends and midweek stays should expect shorter traffic times
Cabins located further north of Hochatown are an additional 15 to 30 minutes from the Hochatown area. This additional distance should not be impacted by traffic.

The park and lake itself are free to enter, there is however a fee to park.

During peak periods you should plan on a wait at most restaurants.

Although hard to navigate up the steep hill and tight turns, with a large truck, the property was easy to find and very nice and cleanly and comfortable. Our family enjoyed our stay. Very easy access to Brokenbow and Hochetown.

The cabin was very clean and well equipped. The only downfall was the driveway is very steep and if we had not had a 4 wheel drive I doubt that we could have made it up. The hot tub needed cleaning but overall I would book it again.

Very nice cabin, drive way is very steep!!!

Such a very cozy cabin, clean and had easy check in and check out process. Close to the River and lake! Had a great time. Drive way was very steep and a little scary, definitely hard for my dad to walk on. Great for young couple and kids. Make sure you have good tires and brakes!

Drive Way

Our stay there was fantastic. Thank you for allowing us to stay there. Only issue we had was the driveway steep and no way to turn around when you reached the top do we had to back up the drive each time which was not very easy.

Awesome Cabin!

This cabin was perfect for my group of 4. Every thing you could possibly need in the kitchen was there. Beds were comfy, plenty of towels and extra blankets as well. Hot tub was awesome. An SUV or truck is definitely needed to get up the drive way.

Spring break get away

The cabin was nice, had everything we *needed for a week. There isn’t a dishwasher which I am sure I simply missed, it wasn’t a deal breaker but with little kids it was a lot of work.I would advise anyone choosing to stay at this cabin to have a vehicle that does well with steep hills. The driveway is very steep. Overall I would totally stay again, it was kid friendly and you are literally 5 minutes from the visitors center and 5 minutes from town.

Lovely, Cozy Nest

Our family of 5 stayed here, and we all thought the cabin was absolutely perfect- the size, the amenities, the location and proximity to anything and everything- we would absolutely stay here again! The only issue we had was trying to get up and down the very steep driveway in our loaded van. Not a deal breaker, but definitely something worth mentioning. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our getaway at Eagle’s Nest and hope to stay there again sometime!

We got more than we thought we would. Drive way was steep, but able to do it without problems. We were not expecting a hot tub, what a nice surprise. Beautiful place to stay. The only thing my husband would add, is a light where the BBQ pit is.

Quiet Getaway

Overall we had a good stay here. We were impressed by the cleanliness of the cabin. We enjoyed that it was mostly surrounded by trees and was fairly private. We had a few minor issues that were unresolved because there is no cell service, so we were unable to contact management. The driveway was difficult to navigate. The first one is curved and steep, the second one is a straight shot to the door but it's even steeper. Our Yukon Dinali couldn't make it up the second driveway. You'd probably need a 4x4 for that one. We were unable back down the steep curved driveway at night due to low visibility.

We had a wonderful time and highly recommend this cabin if you’re needing a “nature break”! It is nestled among trees which is really relaxing. The cabin was clean and had blackout curtains in the room with the king size bed. It did not have blackout curtains in the bunk bed room though. We heeded the advice from previous guests and took our truck. So glad we did because we don’t think our minivan would have made it. It has an extremely steep driveway. That’s why you have the beautiful tree view but bear in mind what you will be driving. The weather had been raining and warm before we arrived so we had to watch out for ticks. Just something to be mindful of in the woods! Overall, it was a great cabin and we would definitely visit again.

Be aware

Overall, the cabin was nice and the location was great. The only complaints we have are that the cabin could’ve been cleaner, we smelled smoke the minute we walked in, and the mattress had bed bugs. There was stuff left in the sink as well. Wish we could rate it higher, but cleanliness is very important to us.
