We enjoyed our stay at Hunters Haven. Loved all the surrounding trees on the property. The cabin had everything needed for your stay. Would definitely stay there again.
Hunter’s Haven met all our needs. It had plenty of kitchen supplies for fixing meals, comfortable beds and seating for our group of 3. It is conveniently located near Beavers Bend State Park and restaurants and breweries. Hot Tub and fire pit looked inviting but too hot out for us to try them out. We would stay here again.
Upon entering, the cabin had a peaceful feel about it. Location is awesome. Far away enough to feel secluded, but close enough to run into town for a quick errand.
The kitchen was probably our only problem. The microwave door had trouble opening there were roaches in the kitchen. Everything was pretty dusty. The location was wonderful direct ATV trails access and lots of the privacy. I think with a few updates it would be excellent. Also, the hot tub was nice and warm.
This is a great cabin to stay at!! Nice size and very comfortable!! The WiFi was not working very well, but that could have just been the busy time we were there!!
This is the second time we’ve stayed in this cabin. We love it here. It’s a good location, it’s clean, and had everything we needed for a quick getaway.
Beautiful cabin...exactly as described..perfect place to relax and getaway from our demanding careers. Enjoyed Beavers Bend State Park and the scenic drive...would love to visit again. By the way, it rained everyday but we would do it all over again...cozy cabin to come back to after a day out. Hot tub was perfect as well.
Very clean and well equipped . Absolutely beautiful inside and out. Great location and close to everything. Only negative was we had no laundry soap to start the towels. We looked everywhere. We will go back.
This cabin was very clean, and fully stocked. The location is tucked back is the woods, quiet and yet close to the main street activities. We went to rest and recharge. After a day of exploring the trails the hot tub was a great way to unwind. This was our 1st trip but won't be our last. We look forward to visiting again!
Our stay was good until a bad storm came through on our 2nd night there. Trees and powers lines were down so we had no electricity and had to come home early.
I loved this cabin. The location was great. It has everything we needed. The only complain I have is regarding wifi. I couldn't connect with it. And we had zero signal so we were unable to make phone calls or anything. But it made for a quiet weekend. I will definitely stay again.
Enjoyed our stay which was a birthday celebration for my granddaughter who is turning 11. She invited a friend and I invited my sister. We enjoyed the hot tub and roasted marshmallows over the fire. Played cards and enjoyed some chill time. Had a little trouble with the toilet not flushing good and could never find the right switches to turn on/off the lights, but it was a comfortable cabin and we enjoyed our stay. There was a little salt and pepper in kitchen but that was it! Nothing else. Spices are cheap and a few more would have been great. Maybe some oil. Thanks for a great stay.
The house was nice and clean. The neighbors weren’t loud. It felt secluded and close to nature.
Some of the issues we experienced were:
The hot tub had a lot of chlorine in it and started to burn our eyes and eventually skin.
The bathroom tub drained very slowly leading you to take a shower in standing water.
The toilet didn’t flush well.
The charcoal grill that is pictured is not the grill on the property. There is also reference to a gas grill that isn’t there.
But all in all it was a nice stay and we enjoyed it and would recommend it.
Update listing. No propane grill available. No big deal, but we had to buy charcoal for the charcoal grill available which we would have brought with us but rules said don't use charcoal grill, so not sure what to do. Couldn't get tv to work in a bedroom. Light in dining room had some wonky wiring and we could not turn it off unless switch was halfway between on and off. Overall, pretty good stay. Just wished there was a propane grill.
