Location location location

I never considered the location as a high priority other than access to the beech. The view from the balcony would be the reason I rent this unit again. Absolutely breath taking. Beautiful.

Thanksgiving in Florida

My family and i stayed at this condo over Thanksgiving 2021. This was our second time renting this unit. It's a spacious 2 bedroom 2 bath and the rooms are on either side which gives great privacy. The place was very clean and you could tell the owners really cared about the place, it almost felt like home. The kitchen had everything we needed to make thanksgiving dinner for our children and was set up very user friendly. The views were so stunning it drew the family together every evening to watch the sunset. The facility has more than enough amenities for the whole family. We played pickleball, exercised in the weight room, played basketball, swam in the large pool and enjoyed a bonfire with smores on the beach at night. The location was centrally located to everything we wanted. There is a great restaurant and bar at the facility and others within walking distance. We look forward to going back again.

Wonderful Condo in Miramar Beach Large Balcony & Gulf View

I knew going after xmas the weather could be iffy, but I didn't care! The view from this condo is so relaxing. Great for morning coffee and afternoon happy hour. This condo has a large patio with the high top table and chairs which I love because you have an unobstructed view. Plus, you can see the ocean from both bedrooms, living room and kitchen. There is plenty of room and felt very safe with my 14 mos. granddaughter on the patio playing. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking which was perfect having a little one with us. The heated pool is extra large, two hot tubs and baby pool make it nice for families or couples. I love the extra mirror/dressing area which is well lighted outside the master bedroom. It makes it so nice for putting on makeup when there are extra ladies in the house! It is decorated so comfy and casual and has a large table to play games which we love to do. They even provided games! The staff is very welcoming and friendly and having a covered area to pull your car up while you unload is definitely a plus. Plenty of carts available for grocery or shopping trips! No lugging through the parking lot. This condo building also has a workout area, a restaurant bar and a Beach Bar you can walk to so you can take in the gorgeous sunset. I felt VERY safe here which is important. If you have any questions at all the owners answer very quickly and have lots of recommendation for eating or activities. I can't wait to go back!

Nice but Vacasa misrepresented

First the positives: Location is great- easy walk over sky bridge or street to beach Beach is nice with complementary chairs and umbrella (only availability 5pm). Nice beach view from condo balcony, which can comfortably sit 4-5. Condo was decorated and furnished very nicely- all seemed new. Beds very comfortable Kitchen had all needed items which included a small amount of dish soap, new dish sponge, dishwasher and laundry detergent. The restaurant on site is very good!! We even got a complimentary appetizer the first evening. It’s also really cute- has nice patio overlooking the water Cons: The condo could use some cosmetic updates- the paint is worn and dirty or chipped in some areas. It’s not 5 star- building and second bathroom are not extremely updated - if this is a priority for you. My biggest complaint: before I reserved I asked Vacasa if the locks on the balcony doors had been fixed as a recent review said they were broken (master bedroom balcony door won’t open, living room and second bedroom balcony doors don’t lock.) They assured me that had been repaired. NOPE!!!!! We arrived and they were as the previous review described.... broken!! I was extremely irritated that I had been lied to but fortunately felt safe enough to sleep soundly. Also- FYI- there are boogie boards and noodles to use. A previous review said there was a folding wagon and cooler on wheels but that is not the case now.

I want to come back!

My family and I to Miramar for our friends’ wedding over the weekend. We had a late arrival due to our flight being delayed. They left instructions to a lockbox with our unit information. The lockbox was open for everyone to get into and they had many other guests unit info in it. I don’t find that to be safe since everyone can have access to your room if they really wanted. When we first arrived to our unit, the carpet was damp but I could tell it was from a carpet cleaning. The entire was clean, beds were comfy. The bathtub seemed to be clogged and wasn’t draining properly. It made me nervous that the dining table was over carpet as I was traveling with 2 little ones under 2. They do not provide accommodations for infants/toddlers so be mindful of all the bedding you’ll need to bring if you are not into co-sleeping. The resort is walking distance to their private beach area. They do not have a ramp for wagons/wheelchairs. We brought a wagon for our kids so we had to lift it while going down the steps to the beach. The Royal Palm Grille restaurant is connected to the resort, which is also where the wedding reception was held and the food was delicious. I definitely recommend for anyone staying at the resort to eat here! I personally did not encounter any issues with waiting staff being extremely rude but all my other close friends did on multiple occasions. I will be coming back in a couple of weeks for another wedding and already regret not booking at the same resort. We will be back though!

Great condo with amazing view

The condo was very clean when I arrived and was exactly like the photos online. The view on the balcony in the mornings are so amazing. The kitchen is equipped with everything needed from cook, eat, drink. The only issue we had was the master room door to the balcony the handle is broken so it does not open. There is also one sliding door in the living room that doesn’t lock. But over all I loved the place and will for sure be staying again

Returning vacationers

We have stayed in this lovely decorated condo in the past. I love sitting on the deck in the morning with my coffee and watching the sun set in the evening. The bed in the master bedroom is so comfortable and the kitchen well stocked for your cooking needs (if you want to cook on vaca, that is)! Will be back again.

Home Away from Home

This unit has everything you could want in a vacation rental. We had 2 families (4 adults 2 children) and we were very comfortable. There was a tiny issue with the shower head in our unit and it was promptly fixed with a smile. The unit was surprisingly quiet from side and upper neighbors which was a bonus in such a high rise. There’s a cooler with wheels, beach cart, umbrella and a few toys for your use. Had we known this we wouldn’t have packed some of those things up to the room ourselves. What a pleasant surprise! Unit was clean and beds super comfy! Only downside were the 2 elevators that became nearly impossible at peak times. We took the stairs down from 4th floor a couple times or would go up one level to the 1st floor to ride down and back up to avoid the long line. Just an inconvenience but not a biggie. Would definitely stay again in this unit.

Beautiful Condo

Nice and spacious unit

Surfside #404 is a comfortable and super cute 2BR/2BA unit perfect for a family to enjoy a few days by the beach. The building itself is dated and not encouraging upon entry, but boy does that change once you walk in the door at #404. It’s well appointed with pretty decor, lots of space (huge master!) and a wonderful and very large balcony facing the gulf.

AMAZING Stay in 404

I would stay here again in a heartbeat. My family greatly enjoyed our stay. Other than Destin being a great location for families of all sizes, this condo exceeded our expectations. Here are my Top 5 perks of this condo: 1. The View - I could sit on that balcony all day just watching and listening to the waves. 2. Chair service at the beach included! No getting up at 7am to claim your spot. You walk down when ready and you have two chairs and an umbrella waiting on you in the front row! 3. Spacious master - lots of room to move around 4. Double beds in the second bedroom not twin beds that we typically get in a rental which makes it more comfortable for the kids or allows you have additional guests 5. Spacious master bath - plenty of counter space so every day you don’t have to repack up all your toiletries.

Relaxing

October is perfect here!

This condo and surrounding amenities has it all! Soooo close to the beach, 4 minutes from room to sand. Great view of the beach from patio. Well appointed kitchen and great living spaces. Surfside404

We were lucky enough to stay in this condo for a week. A lovely place views from patio were outstanding the people at the resort were very friendly. The condo itself is perfect roomy and comfortable. Beach bar is amazing easy access. We enjoyed our stay wanted to stay longer was already rented out. We will definitely be back. Close to all the great restaurants. Jason and holly were a delight to deal with. I would recommend this place with no hesitation.
