Booked a week stay for my nephew's birthday. It was amazing. The property was just as advertised. We took advantage of all the amenities they had to offer. The pool, gym, playground, we even took a trip to the river early one morning to explore the trails near by.
The property is centrally located. Just 1.5hrs from Phoenix, and about and half hour to other towns like Sedona, Jerome etc.
10/10 will stay here again

We at Verde Ranch RV Resort, Thank you for your kind words. We love reviews with Google and Trip Advisor as well. We are so glad you have a great trip and hope to host you in the future.
I was attempting to book a place in Sedona and didn't realize until after booking that it's 40 min from there in a town with few amenities. When I attempted to cancel all or part of our stay I learned that since we booked through VRBO it was non-refundable. Both of those problems were MY MISTAKE and because I'm not familiar with the area, didn't look on a map, and I don't use VRBO often. They don't reflect on that facility.
That said, the cabin was snug but worked well for my family of 4 with 2 kids under 6. It was clean, new, and mostly well stocked with dishes and linens. It would have been nice if there were some staples like salt and pepper.
The pool was great, clean, not crowded. Having two spas was nice so you don't feel like you're all up in someone else's space. We didn't use the clubhouse and it was too hot to use the playground. The store/check in has a fun selection of games plus some convenience store/camp stuff. Employees were friendly. The property is more or less a large gravel RV lot with a couple cabins.
My favorite part of accidentally booking in Camp Verde was getting food at La Casita. So good. Margaritas were generous, food was excellent with large portions, staff was friendly, price was more than fair. If you're anywhere in the area, eat there. It almost made up for the parks in Sedona being closed due to fires.
We enjoyed this property. It was the perfect location to travel around AZ, meet new people and bask in the sun.
