Welcome to paradise! Cookin' Up Fun 2 is an 8 bedroom, 8.5 bathroom Beach House that sits directly on the white sandy shores overlooking the crystal blue water in Gulf Shores. Cookin' Up Fun 2 sleeps up to 24 people and offers 4 Bedrooms with private bathrooms that overlook the Gulf (the other 4 bedrooms have private bathrooms as well). The home also has a seasonally heated private pool off of the main living area on the deck. The home has parking for up to 6 cars, has a large charcoal grill, a private boardwalk to the beach from the main deck, and much more! Come and cook up some lifelong memories in Cookin' Up Fun 2! Only need 5 bedrooms or need 5 more bedrooms? If so, please look in to Cookin' Up Fun 1 which is directly next door to the West of this home. It is a 5 bedroom, 4.5 Bath beach house that sleeps up to 21 and it also has a private pool!

This house was awesome for our large family week at the beach. It is well furnished, clean, and comfortable. Nice sized kitchen with TWO refrigerators, TWO dishwashers, and an ice machine. Great to have two washer-dryer sets in the house. Everything well maintained and working.The little pool on the deck was bigger than we thought it would be, and the kids had a blast. Great access to the beach with our own boardwalk. The view of the ocean from the house was good.Our stay was in August, and the AC in the house on every floor was fantastic.We would love to stay here again!

House has best location right on beach and ocean. Little pool is nice, really no need for it with ocean right there. House is well appointed with everything you could need. Easy check in and check out. Close to all the action but in a quieter part of the strip. Great time at a great property.

Overall this was a great place to stay. Our family loved it. You can’t beat the closeness to the beach. It was also minutes from restaurants and grocery stores.

Plenty of room to spread out, I thought the pool would be to small however it was a perfect size for the kids to have a break from the beech. Good parking, close to the beech and not crowded. Would stay again for sure.

Mother's 70th Birthday

This was a great place and the management property was great to work with. Not nearly as busy at this end of the beach is one advantage and having the pool was nice for the little ones for the end of the day to wind down. Very comfortable for 21 people. Would stay there again!!

The house was overall a good stay and it is about 100 feet from the coastline which we loved, but there are a lot of things about the property that could really benefit from a few upgrades. The home is fitted with the cheapest quality appliances, sheets, towels. Overall look like the place needed a deep clean and it could greatly benefit from a better working stovetop/oven. We planned on cooking a lot during the day, but it was difficult to use the stove top because of how old and how easily it burned food. They repairs needed around the property that included floor separating in areas and shower door falling apart and it did not. It had a heated pool, but the pool was not warm when we were there. Overall, it was a beautiful view and the family had a good time. The Communication of the property management was also incredibly responsive.

Girls' Trip

We never left the house/beach! We have an annual trip to the beach and this was our 3rd VRBO. There was plenty of room for everyone to enjoy being in the same room for dinner, etc. It is on our "go back" list.

Great Location/Fun Family Vacay!

We had a great time for our quick family getaway! The location is perfect and the plentiful rooms and bathrooms were great for everyone to have their own space. Also plenty of towels and nice to have 2 dishwashers and 2 washers and dryers. There are a few maintenance things that need some attention, and it wasn’t the cleanest place we’ve stayed in, but still a great time and experience.

Great place for a family get together!

The house was perfect for our large family get together. Each family had a room and a bathroom. The living/kitchen/dining area was perfect. The decor is modern and clean. The boardwalk to the beach was great for the little ones as they could go back and forth between the beach and house with no problems. We all loved it so much we’re thinking of doing it again here next year!

Access to beach was outstanding. Not too crowded even on the 4th of July. Very quiet location. Small pool was great for cooling off and exercise. I will send an email regarding some maintenance issues to VR

Our family of 20 had the best week ever!! This was our first time to take a vacation as an entire family and it was a blast. The house was more than what we expected, the location, size and everything in between. After reading previous reviews I took some extra kitchen items to make sure we had what we needed. I was able to cook for the entire family all week and loved every second. I would highly recommend this property!

Great Property, Location & Well Stocked Kitchen

Great property for an extended family vacation for me, my spouse, siblings, cousins, nieces & nephew. We have done large family vacations in many locations. On top of being a fantastic property right on the beach, what stood out for us was the kitchen cookware, utensils, and dinnerware were more than adequate for a large group that does a lot of cooking! Typically, we purchase things to cook with and paper products for eating, but there was no need here. They have everything you need. Just bring your group and enjoy!
