We truly want all of our guests to be a satisfied and feel at home. The rate generated from VRBO when you book your reservation is for overnight stay only based on the number of overnight guests you are hosting. If you want to have an event/dinner party/get to gather its welcomed. Or if you want additional guests other than what is in your reservation and paid for. It needs to be approved, disclosed and depending on the amount we may need to schedule a parking attendant/security to ensure no neighbors' complaints. We need to follow city compliance for all cars and need to be parked in the appropriate areas. Noise levels need to be in line with the city's guideline or the party will get shut down from neighbors' complaints if too loud night club levels. Additional payment is required if approved. We charge per person for all of our events. All this is listed on our site, in our ad, and in our rental agreement. With every booking the rental agreement is automatically sent to every guest and is on our site for review prior to booking. We ask everyone to review it within 48 hours for a smooth transition. if they can't comply, they can cancel within 48 hours. After Tameka booked, she informed me she would only have 10 additional guests for a dinner party and 50 showed up. Some guests parked their car in front of the neighbor's gate and was a fire hazard. Her and her guests were smoking inside our non-smoking home and the smoke alarms kept going off. She violated the lease agreement. Neighborhood security and neighbors started to get concerned and contacted me. Once that happens, I contacted her, and she assured me would resolve it. It wasn't resolved and neighbors were disturbed. Per our house rules parking attendant/private security is called so we don't have to shut anything down or cancel the booking. We ask for full disclosure so we can help every guest to have the best experience. We understand that plans may change and as long as you inform the host we can help with. We required damage protection with every booking. In this case we had damage on the property from cigarettes burns on the table in a nonsmoking home. Damage on the wall from tape and furniture tears. Tameka was pleasant I am not sure she read any of our house rules, music levels were fine. Most of the house was left in good condition with mirror damage. Thats why we require damage protection. My wish is she read all the rules prior to booking and followed them. Live and learn.
