About the host

Retired musician/arts educator. Gourmet cook. Friendly. Easy going. Glad to converse or give you all the privacy you desire.
Why they chose this property
This is a beautiful and extremely private spot. In the woods on the very top of the mountain. GREAT WATER. Plenty of room outdoors to roam. The spring is exhilarating, the summer is lush, and the winter - my favorite time on the mountain..
For a private get-away, or a family gathering, it is a perfect place. Woofers welcome!

What makes this property unique
Dirt road - ten(?) cars a day and that is a busy day for traffic.
Big fire pit in the lower yard. Mountaintop air. Virtually no noise here. Your host loves to pick delicious wild mushrooms - which are abundant up here. In season I can bring you chanterelles, porcini + many others - or if you'd like, take you can join me for a mushroom walk.
My favorite benefit - nothing fancy here, just a lot of put your feet up and relax furnishings. Comfortable and cozy.
