Norway Hus is a perfect place to relax and enjoy your vacation.

The interior offers plenty of natural light, with a large kitchen, 1/2 bath, and laundry room, counter dining space and dining room, family room and separate living room that leads upstairs to three bedrooms and full bath. The master bedroom and bath on the first level are spacious and luxurious. Beautifully appointed, yet Door County casual furnishings and decor make this house special.

The wooded yard is great, too! A deck with table and chairs, BBQ grill and a fire pit, as well as enough room for yard games for family fun. A short walk down Anderson Lane to Eagle Harbor, restaurants, library, shops, boat harbor and launch and public beach is an added benefit. A large enclosed porch offers a hide-a-bed and game table.

This was a nice home in a quiet, beautiful location. There was plenty of space for us all with four nice bedrooms, and room to gather, talk and play games. We loved being so close to town but on the edge of the woods.

Norway Hus was perfect for us! We were off the beaten path just enough for easy access to all things Ephraim as well as country roads for great bike rides. The house accommodated our two dogs nicely with little touches for the comfort of all. Communication and check-in were great. We hope to stay again. Many thanks for the hospitality!

We enjoyed our stay. The location is very quiet, we saw deer everyday, enjoyed the firepit, and laying in the backyard to watch shooting stars. The only reason I didn’t give 5 stars is the upstairs bedrooms are quite warm, also we were only given two extra trash bags.

Thank you for staying at Norway Hus. We’re so glad you enjoyed the peaceful setting, the deer, firepit, and watching the shooting stars from the backyard. We appreciate your feedback regarding the upstairs temperature and trash bags. Norway Hus does have central air conditioning, and during warmer weather, setting the fan to “On” rather than “Auto” provides continuous circulation and helps keep the upstairs bedrooms more comfortable. We would also have been happy to provide additional trash bags had we known they were needed. We encourage our guests to contact us during their stay with any questions or concerns so we can help right away. As the property manager, I live nearby in Ephraim and am readily available to assist. Brad's place was perfect for our sister's weekend. There were 7 women and we all had a comfortable place to sleep and the 2 1/2 bathrooms served us well. We especially enjoyed the enclosed table and chairs area in the front where we could play our games and enjoy the outdoor views. The location is great and a short drive to all the places we like to visit. People in the neighborhood that you meet walking are so friendly. It isn't easy to please all 7 of us at once but this property did just that.

I would echo all the other reviews and say that this was a great house for our party of 7 and 1 small dog. The house was extremely clean and decorated so adorable! The rooms are good size and were stocked with some basic supplies. The location of the house is awesome-quiet wooded area but also close to everything. Short walk to Ephraim. Host was excellent and easy to communicate with. Will look to stay here again on future trips to the Door!

It was a great space for everyone. No one felt crowded. ( 4 adults 2 children) in fact so much space we only walked through the living room to get upstairs. The sunken space off the kitchen was the main hang out. We loved the enclosed front porch. We had our meals out there. That was also a good place to have coffee to see the deer and turkeys. The kitchen was set up with everything in mind. We didnt need anything as far as cookware to prepare meals for our group. Definitely 10/ 10. The location was great too. A 5 min drive off the main strip.

We loved everything about this place - king beds, twin bed rooms [not everyone wants to share a bed], large open common areas, perfect kitchen for a larger group, close to town... loved it.

Great place to relax.

If you are looking for a peaceful place to stay with no noise this is it. Quick drive to Sister Bay for shopping and dining. Large bedrooms and plenty of room for an extended family and friends.

Great house in a beautiful location and pet friendly!

Our family stayed in this lovely home and loved the house, yard and location. We were close to all the Door County place we enjoy. The house is located in a quiet, wooded area that's within walking distance to downtown. Super comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen and cozy areas for the family to gather.

We enjoyed our week!

We spent a wonderful week surrounded by sweet peas in a very beautiful space....inside and out. We could bike to popular sites and enjoyed the peace and quiet. Host had thought of everything to make our stay fun and easy.

Great stay!

We enjoyed the home very much! It has a spacious kitchen, allowing us to cook and share meals together. Bedrooms were comfortable. Firepit was nice to use. Good location to everything in the county. Owners were quick to respond to all communication. We all enjoyed our stay and will be back! Thank YOU!

We are life-long residents of Door County and have raised our two daughters here. We purchased this house from a family who summered here for about forty years. This house has so much character and the yard offers a private retreat for family and friends.

There are several spacious rooms to do a variety of activities, whether it is to read, be artistic, or focus on exercise, there are spaces to enjoy those things.
