Paradise on the Kohala Coast! Welcome to the exclusive and pristine Mauna Lani Golf Villas located in the Mauna Lani Resort. This condominium offers expansive views over Mauna Lani's golf course. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets from your private patio as you settle into the quiet Hawaiian evenings.

This property includes a large master bedroom with a king sized bed and ensuite master bathroom, a second bedroom with a queen-sized bed plus a desk work station, a pullout sofa bed, full-sized kitchen, and a full-sized washer and dryer. We also have bicycles. snorkel gear, boogie boards, games and much more! Great for couples, small groups or families with kids!

The resort offers an activity center with a lagoon style pool, hot tub, and fitness center. Guests also have access to the Owners Club at the Mauna Lani Beach Club located at Makaiwa Bay, a breathtaking white sand beach. At the beach you will find the Napua Restaurant with delicious entrees, a full bar, and an incredible beach view. Just a short distance away (approximately a 5 min drive) are the Shops at Mauna Lani, where you can dine and shop. Restaurants include the Tommy Bahama Restaurant & Bar, Shiono (sushi), Ruth's Chris Steak House, and Pele's Wok. The Shops also has the Foodland Farms grocery store where you can pickup delicious and fresh poke.

The Mauna Lani Golf Villa condo was fantastic for our 10 night stay with our 1-year old son. The condo is spacious, quiet, and the complex is great with a small workout room and very nice pool and hot tub area. The condo also includes access to the Mauna Lani Beach Club, which is a nice private beach exclusive to the Mauna Lani owners and guests. We would definitely stay here again!

Great Stay

The property was very comfortable and well equipped. We used the BBQ for multiple meals. The pool is close, limited lounge chairs though. Extras in the garage are useful. We used the ice chest frequently. Lots of snorkel equipment too. Would stay again. Close to beach club, walkable but would be more challenging with gear or children.

Just Beautiful

Our experience with this property was wonderful. We found the beds comfortable and also the couch. The kitchen is well appointed with the necessities to cook most things. We especially liked the private beach club/ beach access. The garage had all the necessities for the beach as well. We only had a small hiccup with the A/C not working, but that was repaired. We would definitely stay here again.

We thought the property was too far from where we normally stayed but it ended up being perfect!

With the beach club included, this property has everything for the golfer and the family vacation. We were central to the best fresh fish, Malasadas and local tours. We told our son who has a 17 year old and 2 year old. This is the place for all of them to have something that will keep them interested. The kitchen is fully stocked and the bedrooms are good sized for a nice comfy stay.

Vacation with Family

This is a clean, comfortable, private, and lovely condo. It was perfect for my husband, myself, and our daughter and granddaughter. The patio looks out on the lava and golf course and has a wonderful view at sunset. We made our reservations six months prior to visiting. We received cancellation two weeks before leaving. The property had been sold. VRBO wasn't very helpful with changes, but the previous owner and the new owner/manager were excellent communicators and honored our reservations at the price we were originally quoted and had paid for. The entire re-booking was awkward and time consuming, but everything turned out okay. Andrew, the new manager was excellent, and was readily available when we had questions. A drawback of the property is that the beach is not within walking distance. It isn't that far away, but everything is gated or surrounded by lava which makes walking impossible. However, the pool/hot tub area is lovely and makes up for the inaccessible beach! Also, there wasn't information in the condo regarding operation of the tv and appliances as well as information about the surrounding area. I know they plan on having that in place for future renters. We enjoyed our vacation, and felt at home in this condo.

The condo had some issues that need to be addressed. Towels smelt bad. Washing machine had same smell. Dinning room chairs are ready to fall apart. Some of the blinds didn’t work. Fry pan were unusable.

Couldn't have been happier with the location and property. Andy was in constant communication and the check-in process was a breeze. We arrived just in time for one of the most beautiful sunset's I've ever seen. Great location in a beautiful resort complex. We will definitely be back!

Golf Villas is a Very Nice Development

The Golf Villas unit was very clean and the pictures represented it accurately. The chairs and couch were comfortable. The dining table was spacious. The kitchen was well stocked although a bit low on dinner plates. The bed in the master bedroom was comfortable. The unit has a small lanai that looks out at the golf course and has a sunset view. This is a first floor unit and has no threshold so was very accessible for the disabled person in our party. One of the best features of staying at the Mauna Lani development is access to the gated beach entrance. There are three spaces for disabled parking. The beach is sheltered from most high surf (although not all) and easy has access. The refrigerator has two ice makers but the one in the door malfunctioned. The one in the freezer compartment worked fine. The refrigerator leaked water onto the floor periodically. The condo management is aware of the problem. The living room does not have lamps on the side tables so it's a bit dark. The driveway is on a right hand turn in the road and has poor visibility. Extra caution pulling in and out of the driveway is needed. This is the third time we've stayed in the Golf Villas development. It is well run and maintained.

Great location - Great home

We had a great stay in the golf villa. It's location is perfect. It is close to everything, coffee shop and grocery store. The private beach access was the best, we spent several days just laying on the beach. The villa was super clean and perfect for us, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms! The villa had several games which we did played out on the deck area several times. We enjoyed out stay and if ever back we would book this again! Andy was more than helpful answering any questions we had and was very prompt at getting us any information needed.

Great place

We had stayed in the golf villas before, but this location has a beautiful sunset view, and a great through breeze, plus comfy beds. We did not have kids in our group, but there are lots of games and toys. Several days were too windy for snorkeling, but the pool here is wonderful.

Fantastic and Clean Rental

We stayed at a 4 different VRBOs on this trip to the Big Island. This place is head and shoulders above the rest. This clean, updated, and spacious condo is in a gated resort community. There are tons on good restaurants and beaches nearby. The host checked un with us a few times to make sure our stay was going well. Would highly recommend and will try to stay here again on our next visit.

Why they chose this property

The Mauna Lani has just undergone a massive renovation and is now the premier location on the Kohala Coast. All the best beaches are close by as well as shops, restaurants, golf, diving and whales (November through March). You can't beat it!

What makes this property unique

Hawaii Island is made up of several volcanoes which lends itself to have hills and mountains everywhere. This are is one of the few flat locations you'll find so biking, jogging and morning walks make for a unique experience in this beautiful place :)
