Tradewinds #304 offers 180-degree views of the beach from its private, furnished balcony. This Orange Beach condo is a group-friendly rental throughout the year and welcomes snowbirds for monthly stays starting in October. Guests at this family-friendly condo will enjoy the full, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living and dining area, and various on-site amenities including a shared indoor/outdoor pool and grilling area. There are now smart TV's in all of the bedrooms (2024)!

For family fun, go-karts, bumper boats, mini-golf, and much more, cross Perdido Beach Boulevard to visit Adventure Island. Just three miles up the coast, discover restaurants, shops, and a full-service marina at SanRoc Cay Marina. And for outdoor adventures, set off on the Hugh S. Branyon Backcountry Trail, located just two miles west. Welcome to Tradewinds! We hope you enjoy your stay with us!

Great views

Balcony was great! Directly overlooks the pool and gulf/beach. Couldn’t ask for a better view. Furnishings were all adequate. Would be an extra to have a pull out sofa in the living room. Beds were comfortable. Air conditioning functioned great which is important for summertime in the south! Some of the tile appeared loose in the hallway area and several are cracked and could benefit from replacement. Some screws are coming out/missing on the latch on the front door. Nothing against the units in the building but, the nighttime security person takes her job way too seriously to the point of being rude. All the other staff were nice and helpful. This is our 3rd year staying at this condo (buffet unit 2 previous years) and she gets worse every year….. Thanks for sharing your unit with us. We had a great weekend and hope to come back same time next year!

Clean but needs updating.

The property was overall very nice. Ease to get to beach was great!! Condo is clean but old, seating limited in living room. Only a couch and single chair available. As someone else mentioned there is a definite need for extra towels/washcloths!! We only had 5 total towels , 2 washcloths and 2 hand towels for 2 bathrooms.

Paying for the Location, not the room

Vacasa was non responsive to any messages or calls. Room is outdated to the point of being dingy. Furniture outside is brand new though. Found a full baby bottle by the couch, shades were missing from the blinds in the living room, so people could see in all night and day. Hot water ran out quick, and there was mold along with peeling wallpaper everywhere. Proximity to the beach was excellent and the pool came in handy during the double red flag days. Security staff were friendly and helpful.

Dirty!

I do NOT recommend staying at Tradewinds 304. Upon entry, there was plastic covering the patio door and bedroom windows. There was work being done on the building that we were not notified of. Thankfully, the workers did take the plastic off but were occasionally working on the patio. The view from the balcony is beautiful! In the bathroom were towels hung on the door from the previous guests that were not removed. In the kitchen there were a couple of potholders that were absolutely disgustingly filthy with food. Neither fan in the bathrooms were working which is the reason for the mold/mildew in the master bath. The carpets in the main area were very worn with the corners turned up which creates a tripping hazard. One of the burners on the stove was not working properly. A piece of furniture was missing from the living room and there was no TV in the 2nd bedroom. There were no knobs on one of the drawers in the master bedroom. Overall, the condo is very worn and dated. Trying to get a hold of Vacasa is a nightmare. Hold times are quite long. We had this condo booked for March and I did cancel, unfortunately with a penalty. I would stay away from this condo and Vacasa.

Mold and horrible property management

We booked this listing based off of our baseball team staying at the Tradewinds. Vacasa was the only option to book with as a property management company at the time. I grew nervous reading the most recent reviews (after we already booked and it was too late to cancel for a refund). After reaching out to vacasa they assured me all complaints within those reviews were handled. Upon arrival we knew better. Immediately we smelled mold and felt tons of moisture in the unit. We checked the air filter and it probably hasn’t been changed in years. We paid for a new one after having zero response from vacasa. We additionally had to run air purifiers the whole time. We found mold within the sheet rock in both bathrooms and closets and along the ceilings as well. All furnishings have been changed from original photos but are still extremely dingy and old and gross. The entire unit needs major renovations. The tiles are broken all in the living area making it dangerous to walk barefoot. The rugs are the most digustingly dirty thing in the entire place. I reached out to vacasa numerous times throughout our status (16 to be exact). Not once did we get any response from the local agency they promised would reach out. Do NOT rent this unit or any through vacasa if you have any concerns with the unit you may be booking. Vrbo additionally was zero help in this situation but they aren’t the property management company. I will say Tradewinds complex was great itself

We absolutely love the beach. Great space for a family of 4. Although the furniture on the patio needs to be replaced. The blinds in the living room need to be replaced as well. And the toilet in one of the bathrooms was running after you flushed. All these can be easily fixed.

Booking was not an issue. Email received the day prior to arrival to confirm my identity seemed looked like spam & not professionally prepared. Asking for my DOB. I’ve rented lots of. Condos & cabins and this was the worst honestly. Also, the unit NEEDS new furniture for balcony, new beds, & cleaner living room furniture.
