Beautiful location, Greg the owner was a pleasure to work with. Many additional perks, bicycles and kayaks to use. Loved the back deck and met the neighbors, they were wonderful people as well. Was a great week, enjoyed by all.

Loved being on the water!! The kitchen was well stocked for cooking, which was great! Nice to have two separated bedrooms, one for the teens and one for the parents. We all enjoyed a relaxing time. Communication with Greg throughout the week was appropriate and responsive!
Beautiful, rustic cabin. Gary was top notch! He covered anything and everything! The views from the cabin were amazing! If you are looking for a great spot on Nelson Lake don’t shy away from this cabin!
Everything you need to enjoy Nelson Lake. Our family of 5 had plenty of space. Great cabin, fire pit and water toys. Greg was very accommodating and made the process very easy. Hope to return again!
Truely enjoyed our stay. Very nice cabin just steps from the water. Cabin was well stocked, particularly liked the single serve coffee machine. Local resorts were walking distances.
The owner was very available for any questions.
Thanks!
Great location right on Lake Nelson! Clean, comfortable cabin with great amenities. Enjoyed the kayaks. Huge fire pit and nice grill. Laundry was a huge bonus. Easy access to UTV trails. Check-in and check-out process was seamless. Highly recommend staying here!
Excellent cabin for our family of 4. Very easy boat dock to use without having to worry about stumps or rocks on the approach. Well stocked kitchen for dining in, and several walkable resort bar/restaurants nearby. Exceptional communication with the owner. Zero complaints and will likely book again.
First, I must say the owners are absolutely the greatest. They made sure our stay at their cabin would be the best family experience ever. Fishing off the dock behind the cabin was excellent. Largemouth bass, crappies and bluegills were abundant. Kayaks were available for my daughters to roam around in the bay. We had such a great time! Wildlife all around, beautiful sunsets, great fishing, great host. We will return every year now forever!!!
Wonderful place to stay. Loved the cabin and the feel of the comfort. Lake view and fire pit were amazing. Owner was very responsive and friendly. Will definitely be staying again.
Very cute cabin. Clean, and neat. Well maintained. The kitchen was well stocked with what ever you need to prepare a meal. Greg was very nice and easy to talk to and get ahold of. The lake was beautiful, but there was some weeds but didn’t stop my granddaughter from swimming. Lots of toys for the water. Kayaks were a great hit, there is a hill to go up and down to the water so be prepared if you have bad knees . I would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice place to stay!
This lake house provided us an amazing place to stay for the weekend. It is located on a dead end road in an amazing community. The small bay setting provided ideal dock and swimming areas for our children in calm waters. The short distance to Hayward provided many tourist opportunities. We would recommend this rental to anyone and will be planning to stay again in the future.
Our family had a blast staying here! We have four kids, ages 11 down to 3, and they couldn’t have been happier swimming and kayaking and playing from sun-up to sundown. We really appreciated all of the fun kayaks and water toys, the fire pit, and the yard. The house was clean and the kitchen had plenty of dishes and utensils for all our cooking needs. Definitely recommend!
Very well-maintained classic cabin. The master bedroom is beautiful and spacious. The dock is great and the lake is clean, but weedy, although a nice spot was cleared of weeds for younger children to play in.

About the host
Hosted by Greg Gronski
We recently purchased this cabin as a getaway that would be close to our permanent home as we are an active, busy family with 3 kids in all things sports. We have had the opportunity to utilize VRBO ourselves and share the homes and cabins of others and wanted to do the same for some family travelers. So much to offer here in the Great Northwoods of WI. You will not be disappointed with the adventures that await you weather it be summer or the middle of winter. There is something for everyone and we are close in the event of needed items, hands on help or just some ideas about places to see, things to do or general information. We want our cabin to feel like your during your stay!
