We spent the weekend on the snowmobile trails. This home is located directly on the lake and the trail is just outside the door. Accomodations where great. Our host was very responsive and helpful.
Yes, we all enjoyed our stay very much. Everything was very nice well kept, would highly recommend for a summer stay not much use for all the nice amenities during a winter fishing trip. Our host was friendly and accommodating.
Beautiful setting! We saw so much wildlife and even heard the beavers swimming (ka-thunk!) while we sat at the fire pit admiring the Big Dipper view…aptly named Beaver Bay!
The cabin was great and the lake was amazing. We stayed 4 nights and had a great time. Four adults and 3 kids with plenty of room to stay and easy access to the lake with the pontoon for fishing and stopping at various resorts along the way. The house had a lot of games and entertainment for all ages along with a beautiful deck and patio to enjoy the view.
House is perfect for a family week on Nelson lake! Location is perfect, boat is amazing and the house is comfy and clean! The owner is extremely responsive and helpful!
We enjoyed our stay. We were unprepared for the limited supplies available (no shampoo, soap, olive oil ect) but otherwise felt very comfortable in the home!
We enjoyed our time at the Nelson Lake cabin rental. The views from the property are great and it’s in a quiet neighborhood which made walks peaceful. Having options between games or having a fire or using the lake is a bonus
The bunk room was perfect for the 4 kids with the two other bedrooms for parents. Also having the basement and upstairs living rooms was nice, and sun room and deck were awesome. Pontoon very nice and new, lily pad, and quiet bay location were perfect for kids!
House was just like the pictures, maybe even better. Great location, space was perfect for three sisters to get together, however there was no pontoon as advertised and no communication from from the host about the pontoon not being on site, very disappointing !!!

We are sorry you did not see the message at the top of the description of our cabin telling everyone that the pontoon would be removed starting September 14th due to Nelson Lake damn repairs. We also discounted our nightly prices during this time to reflect the cabin not including the use of the pontoon.
Pictures do not do justice on how beautiful this house is. Came up snowmobiling with friends and it was a perfect place on the lake with the trail running right past it. We had plenty of room to park 3 trucks and 3 trailers.
It was not clean. The shower was very slippery and had no shower mat, I fell in the shower because of this and got hurt. The mattress needs to be changed as it is sinking in spots. Also the pontoon boat had no depth finder which it should of had for that lake.

Exterior was dirty looks like the exterior of the house needs cleaning. Cobwebs over the windows. Screens were very dirty!
Not enough dish soap to do dishes,
Beautiful view!
Nice home. Comfortable beds. We left the homer cleaner than when we arrived. Loved the location, quiet neighborhood and great fishing on the lake. We were hopeful for an outdoor water source because of the fishing, there must be some issues with the lighting because the bulbs didn’t work or flickered off and on but we made the most of it. The hot water was great for the showers. There are a ton of ants, the property appears to be infested, makes sense with the super Sandy soil so we tried to keep the cuties out. It was hilarious when the ants tried to carry off our food. The pics were fun, they really can carry a lot. We also got ourselves acquainted with the fun local frogs, and snakes. The wildlife was in abundance. Thank you for a quaint home that was fun for us for the week.
This house is cute and located right on the lake. The views are wonderful. We enjoyed the porch area with the wonderful lake views.
I would suggest cleaning or replacing the cushions of the outdoor furniture. They were black in many areas with mold.
This house has three bedrooms with one bedroom that has bunk beds. The lower bunk bed is only inches from the floor. I stayed in this room and I literally had to crawl on and off the lower bunk bed as it was so close to the floor.
I would also suggest that better heating options are added for the lower level. It was very cold downstairs. There was a small space heater, but that didn't do the trick to warm up both bedrooms that were in use downstairs.
It is a very cute house, but I would suggest this being more of a place to stay in the summer months. The driveway is very steep going down towards the house. It is also very narrow. If you have a bigger vehicle, parking up to the house isn't a good idea. We parked at the top of the driveway and just walked down to the house. I would imagine this being very difficult in the winter months.
It is a cute house and it is clean. I would recommend this place in the summer months when you can use the pontoon and the lake.
The owner promptly responded to all questions and was very helpful.
We loved the property. It was super functional for our family. It was very clean and well stocked. We would stay here again!
