Cape Cottage - Custom home on the North Cape

Be our guest at our beautiful custom built home, Cape Cottage. Our First Tier, Gulf View home is located on the North Cape within walking distance to the Trading Post and has fabulous views of the Gulf from the 2nd and 3rd floor decks, both master suites and all the living areas. It is an easy 50 steps to the sugar white sand and 30 steps to a 18' x 36' semi private pool shared with two other homes. This 2600 square foot home boast 4+ bedrooms, 3.5 baths, large bright living room, and dining room, den(kid zone or 5th bedroom), fireplace(non functional) and elevator and of course free WIFI.

Cape Cottage sleeps 12 comfortably and furnished to make you feel at home. There are two master suites with king-size beds and private baths, the 3rd bedroom has a queen bed, and the 4th bedroom has two x-long twin bunk beds. In addition, there is a 13' x 11' den or (5th bedroom) with TV/DVD and queen size sofa/sleeper. Cape Cottage has plenty of space for gathering and quiet spots for reading. You can relax in the second floor screened-in deck or lounge in the sun on the third floor deck.

Perfect Stay on the Cape!

We absolutely loved our stay at Cape Cottage! The house is stunning and cozy at the same time. It was stocked with everything we needed and more. It has such an easy access to the beach, and it is located on a great area of the beach on the Cape. The pool right next to the house was also great for our little ones. This was our third year staying in CSB and our third house…this one was by far our favorite and we want to book again for next year!

Perfect Vacation!

This was our second time vacationing in Cape San Blas. This home is wonderful! It’s on the beach, quiet with a pool right next to the home. Our family will be back!

Great location

Incredible place! We had a great time and had plenty of room for everyone. The kitchen had plenty of amenities to cook and also close enough to the Trading Post to grab food. Beaches are so peaceful and not crowded.

Fantastic house and location!!

We had a great extended family get away in this beautiful home. Three generations o under one roof and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot. This home is right on the beach and has lots of spots for everyone to be together or spread out...whatever you need!

Great Christmas vacation

Great house for a family vacation. Hands down this was the most equipped vacation property that we have ever rented. The beds were comfortable, kitchen had everything we needed and the extra refrigerator and beach stuff really helped. The elevator was a tremendous help. We will definitely look to rent this property again.

Wonderful Spring Break

This was our 3rd trip to the Cape, and by far our favorite property/location. Our teens and pre-teen were very happy all week long - such an easy walk to the beach or over to the Cape Trading Post for ice cream and/or doughnuts or to St. Joe's Shrimp Company. The house had everything we needed and I loved the layout. We will look to stay here again when the time comes.

Great location!

The house was beautiful, well stocked, positioned with perfect views all around, despite not being beach front. Best access to beach boardwalk was so close and the beach area was not crowded at all. And a pool right next to the house. Also loved all the decks. It doesn’t get any better than this. Will definitely stay here again.

Amazing Home

My husband and I took our three adult children and their spouses and our first granddaughter for a week at the beach. The house was perfect. It had enough room for all of us, easy access to the beach, a room full of beach equipment and more and more. We can not say enough good about it. We would definitely stay here again.

This home is awesome!!

This property is as depicted in the pictures and the comments. From the minute you walk in you are on vacation in a splendid spot and you will want for nothing. It is very clean, well furnished and well stocked. So close to the beautiful beach, the pool is awesome and there are so many fun things to do or not if you want peace and quiet. We highly recommend and can’t wait to return!!

Fabulous Vacation Home

This property was perfect for our family. We had 2 toddlers with us and the property owners even had gates for the stairs as well as a pack-n-play. Many beach toys were available, two refrigerators and beach chairs. A perfect location for easy access to the beach. This is 10+ property!

A Very Short Week!!

Last night we sat around reviewing our experience at Cape San Blas. It was a week of challenges as our granddaughter is handicapped and this was their first family vacation in 5 years. We wanted a quieter location and the house and location was perfect. The closeness to the beach and pool was ideal. 5 stars for certain!!!

Cape Cottage on Cape San Blas

We had an amazing vacation at this beautiful home! From the well stocked kitchen to the huge table in the dining room, to the beautifully decorated living room with furniture that looked new (not the typical tired furniture found in VRBO rentals) and comfortable beds in beautiful bedrooms, all were perfect. We enjoyed all the decks, it was nice to have a screened in deck as well. The elevator was appreciated for move in and move out days! Of course the short walk on the boardwalk to the beautiful beach was a big plus! We loved it all!

Cozy on the Cape

We had a great time at Cape Cottage. Although it is not directly on the beach, it was just steps from the shoreline. Plenty of room for our family to spread out and have some privacy but the gathering room was large enough for all to be together. The kitchen was stocked with more than two of everything which was a bonus. Mary Margaret was super helpful with all our questions. We will be back, in fact we wish we didn't have to leave!

Absolutely Beautiful! The house, location, check in, and communication with the owner we’re all wonderful! We all loved it and would definitely book again!! The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed and more! The outdoor shower and restroom were great for the kids when at the beach. Just a short walk to the beach. The outdoor space was fabulous with all the decks with plenty of seating. Just a few steps to the pool which the grandchildren loved! Excellent place to take the family!!

We are Lee and Mary Margaret Whitfield and we live on Lookout Mountain. We have two grown sons, one sweet daughter in law and three precious granddaughters.
We ‘discovered’ the Cape in 2011 and immediately fell in love. This was the Florida we had been looking for: the forgotten, relaxed Florida. The area is full of families (including ‘fur’ babies) and natural beauty that will take your breath away.

Why they chose this property

We loved the quiet beaches: no high-rises and the family-owned places to eat, shop, and play.
The house is located on the North end of the Cape within easy walking distance to the Trading Post (a local general store with a little of everything in the way of groceries and supplies), Shoobies Ice Cream and Weber’s donuts (home-made daily).
