This is a lovely spacious property with good sized swimming pool in the centre of Daglan. The house was well equipped with plently of cooking equipment and basic supplies provided. Only a couple of minutes walk to the local shop, a bakery and 2 very good restaurants. Table tennis always good for family entertainment too. The owners lived close by and were friendly on our arrival and communicated well. Thank you for a great stay.

Amazing Stay

Really lovely and peaceful stay, house and village were wonderful. Owners were so helpful and welcoming and all the family enjoyed a brillaint holiday.

This house was wonderful. It was so homely and very well equipped. Francois and Guy were really friendly and helpful. The pool is great and having the parking garage was really helpful. The garden was green and lush which provided shade in the hot weather.Bedrooms were all on the top floor and good sizes- with mosquito nets over the windows so windows could be happily opened. Daglan village was really sweet. The Boulangerie was 1 min walk round the corner for our daily baguette and croissants. And the supermarket 2 mins walk away had everything you could need. The Sunday market was great fun - to buy local produce and enjoy a drink and the lively atmosphere. There was a nice restaurant in the village .We would definitely recommend a stay in this lovely cottage.

A wonderful week spent at Francoise and Guy’s charming Maison de Noemie. Situated in the pretty, tranquil village of Daglan the house is perfect as a base to explore the surrounding area or to simply relax and enjoy the garden and swimming pool. The little village market on Sunday morning in the square was lovely, as was the boulangerie, and the creperie all within a very short walking distance of the house. A small supermarket very close too. Francoise and Guy were great hosts and the bottle of wine on arrival was a nice touch. The house was extremely clean, tidy and well equipped and immediately felt like a home from home. A special place that we would not hesitate to return to and heartily recommend.

Perfect relaxing week in the Dordogne

Wonderful house and hosts. We enjoyed a lovely relaxing week. We particularly liked the garden and pool as private and peaceful. Daglan had everything we needed and once the temperature cooled down we went out exploring the area which is stunning.

Amazing weeks stay at Noemi’s House

We had a fantastic week, staying in a beautiful house and village. The location is excellent for visiting many great places in the Dordogne. The house is of high standard with a fantastic swimming pool. The hosts were charming and very helpful

Perfect stay

A fabulous house in a lovely village with plenty of places to visit nearby, we really enjoyed our stay. The house is very well equipped and very comfortable, the garden and pool were excellent. Guy & François are wonderful hosts, so friendly and helpful.

A real gem in the Dordogne

We absolutely adored our week's stay here - if only it had been for longer! The hosts are so lovely, the house was the perfect size for us and so well stocked with everything we needed and more. The pool was a real hit with all of us. A real gem in the most beautiful village in the Dordogne. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful!

We really enjoyed our stay here! The house had everything we needed, and both Francoise and Guy were charming, friendly, and I could have stayed for months! I highly recommend this little house to anyone wanting to explore the Dome Valley, which is stunning! The only downside is that everywhere we have been since has paled in comparison.

Beautiful village home

Thoughtfully presented home with everything you could possibly need to enjoy the village and the area, and eat in with local market provisions. Lovely House

Beautifully situated in large private garden with a good sized pool - cleaned every two days by discreet owner. House was delightfully light and so well equipped.Lovely welcome (and bottle of wine) from Francoise and Guy, who lived next door but our privacy was never compromised.Would love to return

Noemie’s House

Francoise and Guy were wonderful hosts. Our stay was perfect. We had everything that we needed in the house. The garden and pool was the star of the show. The weather was very warm while we were there and the pool was an absolute godsend !!! Our 3 year old grandson was with us and the garden and the pool was a safe place for him to play. We will definitely book again in the future.

Charming holiday home in a beautiful village

We had a wonderful time staying in Francoise and Guy's holiday home. It had everything we needed and was a perfect place to relax. Daglan is a beautiful picturesque medieval village and is an ideal base for sightseeing with most of the many sights we visited being less than 30 minutes away. Daglan has all you need for a break including a boulangerie, a local shop, restaurants and has a local market on Sundays. The children loved playing in the river and play areas which are a short walk away.

Excellent gîte

Fantastic house in a beautiful village in a wonderful part of France. Really well equipped beautiful house hosted by delightful owners. One of the best rental houses we have ever stayed in. So much to do in the region from caves and castles to balloon rides and canoeing. Or relax by the pool in the private garden. I am sure we will be back! Thank you to Guy and Françoise for a fabulous holiday.

Brilliant house lovely village

This is a lovely house. Well equipped very clean. Friendly welcome from Francoise and Guy. The garden is great- lots of sunny areas and shade when it’s needed! The pool is fantastic heated and cleaned every second day. The village is beautiful with its restaurants baker and shop. Regrettably we were only able to eat in Fabrice once as he was on holiday during our stay. The lunch was however brilliant. Great holiday house would thoroughly recommend it.

Perfection!!!

We were so impressed with this property and its fantastic location. We have stayed in many gites in the Dordogne area....this was the best! The gite itself is stylish and comfortable. It is well equipped. The pool and gardens are outstanding. The children (and adults) LOVED the table tennis table! The village of Daglan is well maintained, picturesque and has a shop, boulangerie and 3 restaurants. Francoise and Guy were the perfect hosts - always on hand if we needed anything, but never intruding. The pool was regularly cleaned. A FIVE STAR STAY. Thank you. x

Maison très jolie, bien équipée avec un beau jardin et une piscine chauffée très agréable. Communication claire avec les gérants, nous nous sommes sentis à l’aise dès l’arrivée. Seuls bémols : literie peu confortable et chaleur à l’étage sans climatisation (jusqu’à 30/31 la nuit). Le village de Daglan est calme avec quelques commerces, il faut prévoir la voiture pour visiter la région et autres centres d’intérêts. Merci pour l’accueil et le séjour.

Merci pour votre commentaire : A votre arrivée , vous avez eu 2 jours de très forte canicule à plus de 40° . Effectivement la chaleur des chambres s'en est ressentie malgré les 2 gros ventilateurs que vous aviez à votre disposition. Quant à la literie , nous avons fait le choix de mettre des matelas à couchage ferme pour satisfaire le maximum de personnes .

verblijf prachtig huisje is Daglan

We werden hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaars. Het is een zeer schoon en met uiterste zorg ingericht huisje waarin echt niets ontbreekt. De eigenaren zijn zeer behulpzaam. De ligging is perfecte en het dorpje heeft een bakker en supermarktje om de hoek. het is een mooie omgeving en we komen zeker nog een keer terug.
