Very nice place for a getaway. Easy to find and no insanely steep roads to deal with. Very quick access to get to the main parkway. The cabin is quite roomy and honestly if you have quiet neighbors(which we did), you’d never know it’s a shared unit. The hosts were very quick to respond to messages. We like to try out different places in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg when our timeshare is booked. We’ll definitely be going back to Big Bear.

The cabin was very clean, the only complaint I had was the smell of dog urine was really strong upstairs. That isn't really the owners fault, it's more just people being irresponsible with their pets when they travel. Also we didn't know that the cabin is up next to an adjoining cabin so at times we could hear dogs barking super loud but thankfully we were out doing things and weren't there much. That only happened one day of our stay. Other than that everything was good. The shower had great water pressure which is sometimes a issues with some other cabins. Owners were very nice and checked on us after check-in to make sure everything was going OK. The clubhouse mentioned was kind of disappointing due to the fact that the pool wasn't clean and both air hockey tables have been removed so no real games to play. But once again not the owners fault.

My teenager (boy) was thrilled with the space! He could have just stayed there the whole week and would have been satisfied. I loved how close the cabin was to all the attractions, but far enough away for peace and quiet!
