ABOUT: Huge, modern farmhouse Smart home with an incredible 150 inch movie theater living room. The biggest master bedroom you’ve ever seen with beautiful furniture. Spacious open kitchen and dining room. Huge backyard deck with new outdoor furniture, cornhole boards, and a fire pit. Great for large gatherings (no house parties) and large families; sleeps up to 13 guests. Two king beds, one queen bed, one twin/full bunk bed, one full day bed, and one queen air mattress. Great for extended stays, we’re a Navy family and will offer additional discounts to military/veteran/civil service/DOD personnel who stay longer than 21 days. Thank you for your service.

NEED TO KNOW INFO: This is NOT an investment property; we work out of town about 7 months out of the year so our home is set up as our personally owned home with our family’s personal belongings in one closet, some cabinets, and the garage (off limits) but is organized and maintained by a professional cleaning crew. This is a very quite cul-de-sac. The neighbors keep a very watchful eye out for me; for my safety and the safety of my guests, the exterior (only the exterior) of the home is monitored by 24-7 live video surveillance. I must emphasize, anyone who has intentions of breaking the few rules (especially house parties), should not stay here. I look forward to hosting folks who will take care of my home as their own. I definitely want you to enjoy your stay so I have very few rules (See ‘Rules & Policies’ section)

RULES: Absolutely no pets allowed; sorry I can’t make exceptions because members of my family are highly allergic to dander. No smoking inside. No house parties.

THEATRE ROOM RULES:
No eating,
No open beverage containers (please use the tumblers provided),
No sleeping on couches,
No adults sitting on the ottoman (it colapses with too much weight),
No shoes on the blue theatre room carpet (shoes allowed everywhere else)
None of the above rules apply to anywhere but the theatre room. When you submit your request for booking, please include the phrase “Acknowledge the rules” so that I have confirmation that everything has been read and I don’t need to send these again.

All the TV’s have Fire Stick with Amazon prime, Netflix, and live TV via the DirecTv streaming app. The bunk bed room has already got a hdmi hanging down to connect to a gaming system. The wireless router is plugged-in in this room underneath the bunk bed. Some children have often mistakenly unplugged it not knowing what it is. The outdoor amenities are not maintained by the cleaning crew; therefore guests are responsible for getting their own consumables (i.e. fire pit wood, tiki torch fuel, propane fuel, charcoal, lighter fluid). There’s a new propane grill in the backyard and a charcoal one too. You can use the propane tanks but guests must go get their own propane refills. Guests are not required to clean the grills after use so please anticipate needing to clean before preparing food. When cleaning, please do not dump ash into the grass; please throw the ash in the trash can. I recommend using a trash bag and the bucket next to the grill. Grilling utensils are in the drawer underneath the coffee maker. The back patio furniture is covered but feel free to use, I just ask you cover them back up when not in use or if rain is in the forecast; same with the cornhole boards. Wine glasses, beer mugs, shot glasses are in the top cabinet next to the fridge in the laundry room.

CHECKING OUT:

Thank you for letting me host y’all. There’s not much to checking out.
1. Don’t worry about doing anything with any of the bedding. Just leave the beds unmade, no need to strip them or anything.
2. Please put a load of towels to wash.
3. Please run dirty dishes in the dishwasher.
4. Please cover the patio furniture, cornhole boards, and tiki torches back up.
5. Please ensure all lights and TV’s are turned off and their remotes are in their place.
6. Please leave the alarm remote and key on the edge of the coat rack.
7. Please put the green trash can and yellow recycle bin out for trash pick up.
8. Please let me know if anything was damaged or stained so I can have the cleaning crew address it.
