House was good. Almost Perfect for what we needed. Dishwasher is broken so it doesn’t get the dishes clean. And the upstairs room was nice but the windows had no curtains so the sun came right in, making the room warmer and bright at sunrise. Also the upstairs bed is super noisy. Couldn’t roll over without waking the kids up, who were across the room. Great for adults and preteens. Don’t recommend for families with toddlers and babies. Would still book again when the kids are older.

Keep looking!

I don’t even know where to start! Very difficult road/driveway access. Access to dock is across the street and has very steep stairs—pictured as “property grounds” but it’s not on the property. Only my son and oldest grandchild were able to use the dock. Three bedrooms are on the bottom floor and they’re tiny with no room for a pack-n-play. Not a great situation for my 85 year old mom either, who ended up sleeping in a chair on the main level. The host never followed up with some questions, and when we arrived and found trash strewn all over the driveway from bears, and the house unlocked and filthy because cleaners had never come, I called the number on vrbo for host and left two messages—only to find that the previous host’s number is still listed on the website. He had to give me the current host’s number. We would have cancelled then but two more groups were already close. The snafu was blamed on the website. I do appreciate the refund of the cleaning fees and admin fees, and the cleaner came the next day. Generally, the house is in disrepair: broken beside table, cabinet front fell off, door frame splitting and causing door to scrape on main floor, two cracked windows, nails poking up on deck. The upstairs game room and bedroom were nice, and great for family with three kids. We rented a pontoon from Fish Springs Marina, who had the best prices and were closest, and that was a great day!Villa Nove Winery is gorgeous, but no grocery or gas nearby -DG about 25 min
