Perfect vacation spot! Waterfront property - located on a canal leading to Little Lagoon. In the heart of Gulf Shores - 3 blocks to Gulf Shores main public beach and The Hangout. Walking distance to popular shopping spots and restaurants. Spacious 3 bedroom/2 bath unit. Primary bedroom with private bathroom and screened porch. Kayaking and fishing from the backyard - bring your kayak or rent one when you arrive!

PLEASE NOTE: This property is a duplex. One or both units may be rented. If one unit is rented, then the other unit will be rented out to another party. Each unit is independent containing a kitchen, living area, 3 br/ 2ba and private screened porch. This listing is for Unit B. See listing #1876887 for side A.

ADDITIONAL DETAILS

* Free guest parking - room to park 3 vehicles on site.
* Amenities include free WiFi, 1 smart tv, fully equipped kitchen, screened porch, canal front.
* Linens come furnished, but please bring your own beach towels.
* Guests receive a “starter pack” of one toilet paper roll, one paper towel roll, laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized soaps per bathroom.

Great place to stay for the price. It’s in a very quiet area. The canal access was awesome. Being able to launch a kayak and go fishing in the lagoon was fantastic. The only negative I have is that the house is a little older and could use a remodel soon.

We rented both units and both were wonderful. Close to restaurants, beach and shops. Units were very spacious and the screened porches were awesome to relax and watch my family fish the lagoon. Plenty of towels, pillows and seating. Kitchen was well stocked. I highly recommend either unit. We arrived early from Mand host allowed early check in which helped our aching bodies from thedruve.

Overall it is a good property but the cleaning of it is not very good. There was someone else’s underwear under our nightstand. Also a massive amount of gnats from the garbage disposal in the kitchen as soon as we arrived. It just needs a way better cleaning than it gets.

The stay was nice. The pictures were accurate and in a nice quiet location. The kitchen had plenty of gagets and utensils to cook many meals that you may perfer. There were plenty of towels and things were cleaned well. I would recommend a different dish washing cleaner because the one provided left residue. I brought some dish pods with me, which was helpful. The only issues were that the air was not very cool at night in the room with the balcony. I brought a mini fan that helped alot. The toilet seats need to be replaced, but other than that we didnt have any other problems.

The place was in a nice quiet location. Beds were comfortable. Floors weren’t very clean. The toilet seat in one of the bathrooms was very old and moved around so needs to be fixed or replaced. Towel bar in one of the bathrooms was broken. Very limited silverware and only one fry pan. Hot water for showers never ran out even after 6 straight showers. Also hard to go 4 days with 6 people and only get 2 rolls of toilet paper and two trash bags. Great location, walking distance to main shopping and restaurants. Overall it was a good place.

Everything was great!! We really enjoyed our stay. We did lots of cooking and hung out a lot. The host was very nice, everything was clean, and they even gave us free charcoal to cook with.The only thing I didn’t like was that the biggest eye on the stove just completely didn’t work. It made cooking tedious. The air conditioning was sloth too. Given, we did have 7 guys and we did a lot of cooking so that may have slowed it down, but it stayed around 76 in the house until about 2am when the sun was down and it had time to cool down. Besides that, our stay was absolutely amazing and zero complaints. If you’re looking for an affordable and really nice property to stay at in gulf shores, consider this place HIGH on your list!!
