About James Morris
My late wife and I bought this apartment following many holidays in Moraira with our then young daughter and family friends. We fell in love with the town and the area, which, unlike a lot of Spain, is green and lush. People who travel say it's more like the South of France than Spain. We used to live in Woburn Sands in England but I moved down here in 2011 and now I have to say I can't imagine being anywhere else. Being in the area I are now able to manage the property myself and give a more personal service than those owners using an agent - I am available any time at the end of the phone if there's anything I can do to help and as I live in the same building I can attend to things quickly. I make it a policy to update and upgrade the apartment every year to ensure it is always one of the best in town, which is why my guests return again and again.

Why James Morris chose Moraira
The apartment appealed specially as it is perfectly placed to have access to the whole town and beach very quickly, but being just on the edge of the town it's quiet - being in the heart of the town isn't always so. Having a south west facing terrace means it gets the winter sun, which makes it such a nice place to be even in mid winter. Having an open view is great too. Few apartments in Moraira have their own pool - which we really loved. Parking in the town - especially in mid-summer - can be a bit of a pain so having an allocated space in the secure underground carpark was a bonus.
What makes this Apartment unique
We equipped it to be usable all year round - so many holiday homes don't have things you need for a longer or an off season visit - like heating or a washing machine. We hope we've thought of everything.

This was my first visit to Moraira and the apartment was perfectly placed for exploring the area. The beach, the shops and supermarkets as well as restaurants and even the market were all within easy walking distance. James was on hand to answer any queries and being there on my own I felt safe and secure. All in all a very good experience.
Appartement très propre, proche plage et centre ville ...pas besoin de voiture tout peut se faire à pied!!! Propriétaire très sympa, tout est prévu pour que le séjour se passe au mieux,. Literie confortable et climatisation pour l'appartement....des vacances de rêve!!!

Moraira is situated on the Costa Blanca, an hour's drive from both Alicante and Valencia airports, between the larger centres of Javea and Calpe. Described as The Millionaires' Playground, Moraira in fact has something for everyone - peace and tranquillity, beautiful mountain scenery, clean, sandy beaches with good facilities & small bars serving cooling drinks, a lively & interesting nightlife with love music, Tapas Bars, restaurants - some smart, plenty that are more down-to-earth, and many featuring fish dishes, especially in the port area, the Saxo Chill-out Disco Garden has live music 5 nights a week (early) and disco from 11:00. There's the atmospheric Old Town area, lots of shops filled with local wares and curiosities, a weekly market. Then of course there's the Marina, with all those expensive boats to look at. And don't forget the local people - who must rank amongst the friendliest in the world. SHOPS, BARS AND RESTAURANTS ARE OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND, WHICH MAKES IT AN IDEAL PLACE FOR AN OUT OF SEASON BREAK.

Golf: There are several golf courses in the surrounding area. The nearest is Irach Golf, which is just a 5 minute drive from the apartment. There are courses at Jesus Pobre, Altea and Javea too.
