Rustic and Secluded only 20 minutes to Park City
Our incredible upscale cabin sits on the foothills of the Uinta Mountains overlooking 6 townships, the River Valley below and Dear Valley and Park City views in the distance.
Our elevated acreage is at 7000 ft., which means we have THE DREAMY POWDER!!! Jim is a seasoned professional mountain guide and can guide or arrange all kinds of mountain adventures ranging from entry level Snowshoeing or Snowmobiling to extreme expert backcountry Ski or Snowboard Mountaineering. Ask about our "bucket list" adventures catered to your abilities and interests.
There is also private access to the Provo River nearby with excellent fly-fishing opportunities or just enjoying the river environment. Inquire for guided fly-fishing season, rates and schedule.
Although there are 4 major ski areas (Park City, Dear Valley...) within 20 minutes and 6 world class ski resorts (Snowbird and Alta..) within an hour, some days you just may just want to relax and not leave the mountain. XC skiing, snowshoeing and snowmobiling are easy without leaving the property. The lofty views from this mountain home necessitate AWD transportation for easy access on the last 1/8 mile.

Located in Kamas, this cabin is in the mountains and on the waterfront. Ideal Theatre and Avon Theatre are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Deer Valley Resort and Jordanelle Marina. Heber Valley Artisan Cheese and Midway Adventure Company are also worth visiting. Make sure you get close to the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Jim is a life long Utah resident who moved to from Salt Lake to Park City area 29 years ago for the mountain lovers lifestyle. Jim is an avid mountaineer who skis, snowboards, telemark skis, rock climbs, mountain climbs, mountain bikes, snowmobiles and rides motorcycles. He has guided many of these outdoor sports for the University of Utah and others for decades. If you need local beta for gear and secret local sports, Jim is the best resource around!
