Boulder Bay Willow Lodge has 2 Hot Tubs, two living areas, and two game rooms.

Very unique setup for large groups. Can separate your party into two groups as Lodge has two sides each with their own kitchen, dining and living rooms. Each side also has its own listing if you want to rent separately. Side one is License # 2024-2127, Side 2 is License # 2024-1533. The two areas are connected with an inside connecting, lockable door between the game rooms. There are two hot tubs and two game rooms with ping pong, pool table and air hockey. Beautiful home that has the log cabin ambiance while retaining comfort and modern conveniences. There is are 2 fully equipped kitchens with: 10 cup coffee maker, toaster oven, and SS appliances (dishwasher, microwave, gas stove, and refrigerator). There are 2 log style tables each handles 8 people with dishes and silverware. There are many pots and pans with utensils for cooking. There is are 2 washers and dryers. It has 6 bedrooms with beds to sleep 16. There are 6 bath rooms with 2 beautiful master baths with large tubs fully equipped with linens, soap, and shampoo. There is 2 large (65") TV's with home theater surround sound system with cable TV with HBO, Cinemax, Showtime, and NFL football. The TV also has WiFi access to internet, Blu-ray, High definition TV with Netflix, Star Wars movies, and other Apps. There are 3 other LCD TV's, one in each of the master bedrooms and another in one of the bedrooms. There are 2 large (10' x 20') game rooms with air hockey, pool table, side by side hoops basketball game, bar table with high stools, and futon. The other has a ping pong table and air hockey. Great places for the younger people. We are getting a great responses from our guests. The game rooms are converted garages with carpeting, extra lighting and curtains. Also enjoy the original paintings that reflect our rustic decor. We have approximately 20 paintings through out the house.

Fantastic property in Boulder Bay!

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful property. The location is perfect with the lake only 1 block away. The house had everything we needed and communication was fantastic. We especially enjoyed both hot tubs and the game rooms. There was plenty of room for everyone in our party and we would definitely love to go back again!

Family Getaway

The 2 in one lodge was amazing, plenty of room for a big family. The property manager Woody and Rebecca were very responsive and professional. It is a definite must stay property for Big Bear Lake, it is close to all main attractions. This lodge is a great location and hopefully continue to book another stay upcoming years.

We reserved both units for an annual multi-family vacation. Plenty of space for all & a great location. The property was as described and had everything we needed. The host was very responsive to my questions leading up to our stay. My family had a great time. We used both sides of the cabin and were able to easily move between the two through the garages/game room. We would definitely stay again.

Great Multi Family Cabin

We had 3 families with kids ranging from toddler to teens. We rented both sides and had plenty of space to enjoy the cabin together and individually when needed. The spas were amazing and the play rooms were a hit with the kids. The master bed in unit B was a bit squeaky but other than that, no complaints on any of the rooms. Plenty of supplies in bathrooms and kitchens. 3 minutes from Alpine Magic Mountain and 5 minutes from the village. The free trolley picks you up directly in front of the house also. There is a convenience store walking distance as well. I would recommend this listing to anyone.

Great location

The interior of the property was clean, but the exterior was covered in a significant number of spider webs, making it difficult to enjoy the patio. We informed the property manager and owner about the issue and requested a hose to clean the area. Although we were given directions to find a hose, we could not locate it. We notified the manager and owner again, but the problem was not resolved. We appreciated the cleanliness inside and the ample space for our family reunion. The location was also favorable, being close to the lake where kayaks and paddleboards could be rented.

This was an unfortunate occurrence that was not responded to properly. Our guest initially only requested a hose and was quickly given the info on how to locate it by check in agent. We didn’t know until next day that the guest couldn’t find it and that it was a significant problem. We have now added to the check in agent responsibilities to check decks and hosing them off if required. Also we added check of deck and cleaning done by the hot tub cleaning service. This hot tub cleaning is done after each guest.

Plumbing issues

Overall the house was very clean. The game rooms are the garage. There are no heaters in the garage area so it made for very cold rooms. Also the hot water doesn’t work in one of the units, dribbles out. In one of the bathrooms, the showerhead was completely broken. The other shower either came out scolding hot or extremely cold. The units are nice, they do have plumbing issues that they need to address. Also, one of the barbecues for one of the units should not be used. I did bring these issues to the owners attention.

Appreciate Denise bringing these issues to our attention when she discovered them. We immediately contacted the water heater repair company and he was out the next morning and fixed plumbing problems with the water dribbling out, cycling hot to cold, and the shower head. That was fast service enabling our guests to have 2 days with these problems fixed. We authorized double time to expedite the repairs. The game room does have a nice fireplace, cabinet style electric heater so I am not sure why they didn't use it also why no mention was made of the rapid repair work and a substantial refund voluntarily provided. We take pride in having a first class place and are disappointed that these problems were not discovered before our guests. We had our service people do a full review of the house and do a better inspection for problems.

Family cabin birthday adventure!!

This was a great cabin and an even better experience! The cabin itself is in great shape and using both sides of the property gave us plenty of room. There are 3 bathrooms on each side, so with 6 total, there were always available bathrooms. (Which makes it great with a big family staying) We highly recommend this cabin!

It would have been nice to know that the water pressure in one of the kitchens was not very good at all, so washing dishes was a challenge. Paper towels were not in large supply so it is a good idea to bring your own supply

We have two kitchens and we supply them with a full roil of paper towels in each kitchen. In addition we have a roll in each of the bottom floor bathrooms. If you run out or need more our check in person lives 5 doors away so she would have been happy to bring more if she have been contacted. On the kitchen sink we had trouble with the flow being low on it and the plumber has fixed it. If they had called and wanted it serviced we could have had it done while they were there. The flow was low but use-able. We have two kitchens where most if not all places have one kitchen.

Great Family Weekend

Our visit to Boulder Bay was great. The home was awesome and being able to book both cabins made for a welcome environment for my family and extended family (total of 12). The location is great and easy reach to the slopes and tubing. Lots of parking for up to 6 cars. Great jacuzzis and bbq for entertainment. The game rooms were a great place to finish the night. Woody was easy to communicate with and kept us up to date with any thing we needed. We will definitely be returning.

Why they chose this property

My son and I purchased this property for our family get a way for winter skiing and summer lake activities. Being close to Boulder Bay was a plus as was the mountain cabin style. After using it for a while we started renting it after purchasing a larger home in Castle Glen.

What makes this property unique

Our property is a duplex consisting of two three bedroom houses which which are connected by an inside lockable doorway. These two houses are rented together on this listing and separately on their respective listings. This arrangement provides two hot tubs and two game rooms in addition to 6 bedrooms and allows rental of 16 adults max. Very few if any other places have these three items.
